Hi Ruby
All depend on your child's characters! My son this year in P1 his school has already started the spelling test every week and my son needs to do 10 words a week, like sit, sat, pat, pan, on, me and etc... I normally ask him to write 10 times each of the word and use phonics to teach him how to remember the words and finally have a test competition with our maid or his dad he really enjoy it as he always "win" !!!ha....
