I am a working mom also, My girl go to p.2 coming Sept. I can share my experiance with you.
At last summer, I let my girl to join "小一預備班". I highly recommend K3 student must join such kind of course. Not the 課程預備, that is some course for child 心理預備. How to write handbook, What will they do on between the lesson or on recess time....etc.
For the first week to school, I follow her to school even she is go by nanny bus. Ask the child called me up after school every day. I tried to go home earlier on first few month. Share with her newly school life every day at least half an hour. She have so many things to talk with me. Like teacher, classmates. Also I called to class teacher if my girl felt down or unhappy.
For the homework, I don't recommend to go to 補習班. I try my best to the take care all by myself.
當中會有很多其他的會發生, 但不要太緊張, 真的有因難, 再到bk, here many mom can help you.
