我星期三都交咗表去聖若瑟,我係中午時份交過去,都見有十幾人交表,我都騐左好耐,選華仁定聖若瑟,因好多媽咪講,聖若瑟太多功課,但輪底子打得好,就一定勝華仁,所以唔騐咁多,等十一月放榜再算.

愛需要傻勁，但不能傷害別人；愛需要耐力，但不是一再的騷擾愛人；愛有許多的能力，能使人快樂,亦能使人痛苦；時常補給自己愛的知識，讓愛人與被愛都有福；你不能決定生命的長度，但是你可以控制他的寬度；你不能左右天氣，但是你可以改變心情；你不能改變容貌，但是你可以展現笑容；你不能控制他人，但是你可以掌握自己；你不能預知明天，但是你可以利用今天；你不能樣樣勝利，但是你可以事事盡力。 :-) :-)

I submit the form on Thurday. No need to waiting as there is only two parents (including me).
You know, I also consider Wah Yan or St.Joseph's, but according to the seats ,St.Joseph is more than Wan Yan ,so I choose St.Joseph's .
I live in eastern district (net 14) , how about you ??

我係12校綱,學校啲老師講,如果同學校同校網會較易入,就算第一輪唔得,第ニ輪统一派選返佢第一志願,會好大機會入,再唔得到時去求學校收都會優先收你,所以記得copy定啲申請表,以防萬一,另外華仁位係少啲,但功課少,壓力冇咁大,不過佢地係中文授課,聖若瑟係全英文(除咗中文),點講英文程度,聖若瑟都係優勝啲,但預咗要放好多時間落去睇功課,因之前有啲讀緊既家長講,試過做功課做到12點,1日有6,7樣功課,未計之前做錯要改正個啲!都咪話唔嚇人.

St.Joseph's is in net 11, so it is different net with my resident, therefore, I am not sure to choose this school at the second round lucky draw . Good luck to both of us.

I am in net 12, I intend to choose St. Joseph as 1st choice in Round 2, any suggestion for 2nd and 3rd choice? I worry that if I choose Hennessy Gov. School as choice 2nd and 3rd choice, the result may drop to 7 or 8th choise. Any Recommendation?

My son is in P1 this year. In the 2nd round last year I put Wah Yan PM and AM as my 1st and 2nd choices. My son failed and he was alloted the 3rd choice - Hennessy Road PM. That's Lucky Draw - it all depends whether you're lucky or not.

is yr son studying in henessy gov school now, my neighbours all put their 1st choice for this school so as to get in wor, how comes you are so lucky leh (in terms of them). anyway, if you still like wah yan, do not give up as my another neighbour who came from china not long ago also could knock the door sucessfully. add oil for yr son...she said proudly, 'st joseph's' not bad lah, i also put this in my 3rd choice...wa la la,..
we add oil for each other.

123: Thanks for your encouragement.

I don't know why my son was allocated to the 3rd choice because many people said if the child failed on the 1st and 2nd choice, s/he would be dropped to the 7-8th choice, so that's why I said it all depends on the luck. May be my son's computer random number is high.

I like Wah Yan because it has direct secondary school so I don't need to "headache" again 5 years later but I think I won't knock the door. Firstly, it's because my son is not very smart in both academic and extra-circurriculum activities. Secondly, my son's kindergarten schoolmate is now studying in Wah Yan and there are 42 children in one class. I think it's really too crowded (my son's class has 32 now).

Anyway I think you have good chances in St. Joseph because there are 8 classes and the birth rate is also lower than my son's year.

Actually you son ranking number is very good.

Although good ranking, still cannot get 1st and 2nd choice, that means many people choose Wah Yan as 1st choice.

I submit the form on Thusday morning and there's 4 people there. I like it because I think English learning is very important although I am quite scared about so much homework. Anyway, my son only got 5 marks, not know if he can get the seat. But I'll still try the lottery next round.

nice to meet you here, i feel comfortable when talking with you.
somebody said there was a genius class in heny school, for both am and pm or not? i am just curious but have no intention and no ability to get in. how comes there is so good size in heny school ? i like it that way also.
can you give me some suggestion in choosing am or pm leh? is it also in net 12?
i like this one and raimondi also.

123: you're welcome.  I encountered the same problem at this time last year when choosing the school for my son.  I got valuable inputs from a lot of BK parents.  I just want to share what I learn to those who're in need this year.

Yes, there is genius class in Hennessy Road Govt Primary School (HRGPS) but in PM school only.  2 classes each from P2-6.  No genius class in AM school.  Also started from last year PM school invented a Mandarin class from P1.  All Chinese classes will be taught in Mandarin and the same class will be promoted until P6.  That means the children in that class will not be differentiated according to their academic results.

Don't be scared by genius class, I think the intention is only to group the children with similar results in one class so that the teacher can teach more easily and emphasize can be given to the class with inferior results.

It depends whether AM or PM suits you (and your child) better.  For me I chose PM school because I'm a working mother and always come home late.  If I choose AM school, I'm afraid I can't spend much time with my son as he must sleep very early at night because he has to wake up early in the morning.

did you receive my pm? i typed so long and then suddenly my son came in so i forgot what happened next. i am a full time mum, would you suggest me to choose am or pm? is it a co-ed school? i am in net 12, is it correct for heny school? my pm is telling you some more my personal details so i'll type again if you don't receive it.
