I personally don't feel 劍橋 will improve his English though. Most courses just prepare your kids to take the exams, you got all the shields but does it mean he has learnt all materials very well? My son just prepare the 劍橋 starters and movers in 1-week courses by school, he got all shields too but I think he still needs to work hard in English . We took 劍橋 mainly for applying schools with good certification in the future but i finally realized they are not that helpful.
If you really want to provide good English learning for your child, I still think English phonics should be good start. I take my eldest son as an example. He finished kindergarten overseas, solid fundamentals in English phonics, grammar,etc. He studies well in all english and english subjects in primary school.
I am also looking for good English centres for my younger son now. Some are too expensive, not sure if they are really helpful too.
BTW, my friend said ABC is not good though, she tried there one month.
