各位媽咪，
我尋日收到青衣英基既信。它是一封叫做 " Invitation " 既信。內容大約是："hope you will feel delight to hear that your application to our kindergarten is successful". 跟住就叫家長5月13號去學校聽佢介紹學校及決定讀定唔讀。（2005年1月開學）
咁系唔系即是收左呢？因為我聽人講話很難入，但依家連in都唔使 in，所以我懷疑是不是收左咁解。
仲有，聽人講英基幼稚園同英基小學是兩間唔同機構，咁英基幼稚園畢業後多數去邊間小學呢？所以我都唔系好想比個女讀。星期四都唔系好想請假去佢地學校。
有冇其他媽咪有同樣case 呀？請分享下啦。

即是收左呀!
In fact, they don't offer any interview. So you can 去學校聽佢介紹學校及決定讀定唔讀 before you sign the contract (this information is according to the handbook).

Sorry, for other your questions, I don't know the answers.

But I would like to know how old is your kid now? When did she/he born? Why your kids will join the class in the coming January next year not coming September 04?

No, actually one of my colleague's son was studied in ESF kindergarten (the one in Hong Kong side) before, but now the whole family was moved back to England. She told me that this is a very good kindergarten in Hong Kong, because they use UK curriculum. That's I heard from my colleague.
In fact, I had applied this school for my daughter who was born in Feburary 2002. But we haven't received any reply from school yet, they said the result will probably be ready until the end of this year.

Did you come from england or some other country. Because as far as I remember tha my colleague said they will give priority to the english speaker.

I am not from any other country. We are just a normal Hong Kong family. I speak English to my daughter most of the the time because my daughter is more senstive to English and she is speaking English to the helper.
Your daughter is younger than mine. So I think you will get the letter later. I recieved a note from the school few months ago, which is talking about they'd changed the policy. They will have 3 times intaking in a year. But I forgot the details. (I think you've one already)

Noted. 3 intakes in a year! (i didn't received a note from school) no wonder your daughter got a space next January.
I hope that I can get a letter from ESF later.
