請各位幫忙提出你的想法和建議，應該如何作出挑選？？

你會選擇哪一所幼稚園......如題：
“銅鑼灣-維多利亞”和“青衣-英基”？？

我個仔都係“銅鑼灣-維多利亞”(英普班)同“青衣-英基”都收左,我地會選擇“青衣-英基",之前都係唸如果“青衣-英基”唔收,都會俾阿仔讀銅鑼灣-維多利亞.

如果你要決定點選,你想小朋友第時讀邊間小學好緊要,我去過深灣既維多利亞小學,差不多全部小朋友都係中國人,如果係咁又俾差不多學費,我會選英基既小學,而且英基小學果d家長大部份都會平民化d,鬼佬唔係好鍾意比較家庭背景,小朋友會無咁大無型壓力

呢d只係我d個人意見,不過選英基,家長要自己落d功夫係小朋友學中文果度...

我們之所以暫時還無法敲定選擇qy esf，皆因在其他的forum裏面聽到很多人對esf的不同意見（這便是其中一個forum：http://forum.baby-kingdom.com/viewthread.php?tid=1248602&extra=page%3D1），但有關cwb victor方面的的資料和想法，反而不算太多。

其實我們的目標是sis，但萬一09年不被人家錄取的話，我們便會繼續于現在所選定的學校繼續升讀下去。故此，我們不敢大意，希望可以為孩子挑選一家比較理想的讀書環境。

希望其他家長可以繼續提出你們的想法和建議。

If you aim at SIS, why don't consider the reception class in SIS?

ESF, Victoria and SIS are totally different style of education. You need to think of which primary school you like.
ESF primary is british (or eventually IB) school. English is the main language used with little emphasis on Chinese.
Victoria is an IB school and SIS is singaporian school. Both have much more emphasis on Chinese compared to ESF.

my bb is now only 5-1/2 months. When I need to start to prepare to apply the Victoria or ESF school. I am planning to apply Victoria but I don't know the procedure in applying it.

sis是沒有reception class的，他們只有PY1（即本地的K2）和PY2（即本地的K3），然後就是小學P1了。

Thanks for your sharing. I have also decided to send my boy to TY ESF, so what's your further plan for your girl's primary study?

I would also like to know the nationalities among those children in your girl's class. Any further exciting experience in your girl's school life?

Hello, just want to let you know that I had the same experience as you...my girl was accepted by victoria (CWB) English Putonhua class...then accepted by ESFTY as well last year....i struggled for alm ...

Smart choice! If i were you, pick ESF!

Because Victoria is not International School.
They only claim them a private school.
They charge for everything with unreasonable price.
2 kids of my friend are studying there but their performance not really good especially on speech ability in English. Can not read so well.

In fact, ESF is a real international school with long history and strong supporting. A lot of students got a scholarship to world class & well-known university in the past history.

維多利亞學生比英基學生英文差係可以理解, 維多利亞係雙語, 同一時間學1種or2種語言當然有分別!!
我仔係維多利亞小學就讀, 可能你一定覺得我賣花讚花香, 但我又真係唔覺學校好"商業", 再講, 其實點先叫"商業"!? 除學費/一年2次數佰完雜費外, 我無比過任何其他費用, 商業嗎?
我當然唔係話英基唔好, 只係2間根本係完全唔同形式既學校

Totally agree with "Neo Mum". It is not really fair to critise their English ability. Many parents said that their English ability is lower than International school. However, their Chinese standard is higher than International school. Nowaday in HK, English and Chinese both are important.

My kid studied in Victoria starting from PN, I cannot feel very unreasonable "commercial" so far.

如果國語係考慮因素之一, 唔選VSA, 除KCIS, 星加坡國際都唔錯, 不過最幣無K1

如果只著重英文, ESF當然係首選!!
