Re: 少 數 族 裔 斥 強 派 中 文 校
| As a tax-payer, I totally agree that the government should not spend extra money on entertaining them by operating a school for them. Especially when the economic of HK is not as good as before. In other countries, I don't think the government will specially operate a school for the minority groups. If you take a 5B bus in the morning, you'll know where is part of you tax spent on (I take this route every morning). As the Chinese students study in US, Britain, Australia, are there any government Chinese school? Why HK has? If you immgrate to a new country/city, you have to contribute rather than being a burden of that place. Primary school children can adapt to new school life with new language easily only if they want to. Some of them can speak foul language so well that better than you or I . I just wonder if the school will be a good place for them to set up their own 'power site'. Some of the people in HK are so mercy(especially some of the social workers), can you spend more time, effort and money for the majority group in HK? Lots of elderly, broken family, youth problems, etc need help. A lot of people or their parents have contributed a lot before, why the money is not spent on them? Is there any data showing how many minority group pupils studying in the public schools in Hong Kong? How much money is spent on that kind of schools that is specially operated for them? |
