Hi Ruby1219,
I'm considering their prep-program. How is it? Do they have half an hour putonghua every day? What about other activities? Do they have different activities every 15 min. and change the activities every class like other playgroups? How do they keep the interests of their kids? Do the children speak English to each other? How are their Putonghua? Are most children from Hong Kong? Is the teacher a native-speaker?
My daughter has attended other playgroups and it was basically circle time, coloring, singing, collage, cycling and playing balls but they seem to have the same activities every class. My maid said my daughter was very active at the beginning of the term but after joining the playgroup for 2 weeks, she seemed a bit bored (She told me she was). I'm not sure whether I should find her another playgroup but my husband said the same problem might happen with another playgroup and I couldn't change schools all the time. Too bad I'm a working mom and I can't accompany her to her present playgroup. |
