想請除左兄弟姊妹, 如果爸爸係st. cat畢業, 咁小朋友入讀係咪可以優先架?

I don't think they put the priority for the parents or siblings which are sutdy at st. c before or now. As I know some partens that their 2nd bb couldn't get a seat in this year even they have sibling are study in st.c .

Agree... SC真係好睇你父母, 兄姊讀邊間小學ga。可以幫佢地省招牌 law!

NO!!! I definately don't think so...

they never asked what we do and our edu background.. not even in their application ....

unless the interviewer ask you la... which is very unlikely.

ABSOLUTELY!!! SC put heavy emphasis on 父母職業背景or在那小學畢業 (because if father is graduated from La Salle, his child will go to LS directly, then people may say most of the SC student go to top school)

However, I don't think 100% students' parents are lawyer, doctor........ some remaining quota may allocated to those with very good interview performance or smart kids! or with some relationships!!!

You can choose not to believe, but it's TRUE!!!

A doctor told me that his child attended SC interview this year, but the child didn't talk at all and had hardly replied to the teacher's questions. I thought his child will be admitted too.

I heard another case last year, a child with rather poor performance during interview got admitted bcuz he lives in One Beacon Hill!!!!!

No. I don't think so. I knew a case whose parents and even grandparents are professionals, lives in Kln Tong (those low rise house), graduated from famous primary and secondary schools. The result is that the brother get admitted but not the younger one in another year. The younger brother was later admitted by other kindergarten in Kln Tong. I also know some of my son's classmates' mum who are housewives. I think family background did some weighting because it affect the upbringing of the child but not as narrow mind as you suggests.

我諗未必了.
我識有個bk mami的仔仔今年讀k1, 佢早兩個星期話睇一個好少睇的醫生時, 個醫生話佢個仔上年都有in st. cat, 醫生話覺得自己個仔都答得幾好, 但最後都冇被取錄.
所以我唔會認為父母係專業人士小朋友就一定會被取錄的.

我都估無咩直接關係, 因我有個街坊個囝k1插班入的. 佢2公婆 - 老公揸泥頭車, 老婆係普通文職. 不果話時話, 如果d父母作大佢地的職業, 學校其實知唔知呢? 我估佢地唔會真係去check掛

. 就係真係check, 無家長的consent, 公司都唔會比資料佢地啦.

請真唔只ST,CAT根本間間學校都會出現LEE D情形,只係佢名氣大當然想入既人又多,至會咁覺眼.

我覺得不一定,我個女今年考ST.CAT,收了,不過我地2公婆都在大陸讀書,在香港某讀過書,寫學歷都系空白,因為大陸的學校想港未必知道.

我囡現讀 lower class, 當年考學校時張applicatin form 都無填讀邊間學校, 個interviewer 都無出聲, 又無問我地...
我相信唔會影響入學...

幾年前我hubby有朋友係律師& 都幾有錢, 個囡都係 waiting list 咋..

舊年k1 開學時, class teacher 有請家長填寫職業, 目的是希望有些家長如是專業人士例如: 消防員, 護士 etc..
可以要請回校 (穿上制服)向各小朋友介紹他們的職業, 這是課程的一部份...
在學校綱頁內也有這些圖片, 大家有興趣可以上 sc web site 了解下...

我100%話SC無什麼 "優先取錄條例", 我堂妹個大仔係SC畢業, 細妹今年考, 一樣都唔收, 佢哋係有錢人, 住XXX山道, 過千萬嘅豪宅, 都唔收...原來細妹全程唔講嘢.
