英普班同英粵班分別有幾大？因為我見英普班都有用普通話上課！

Eng/putonghua class has a english and putonghua teacher and use putonghua and english for medium of instruction. I realize that the class has 'big' and 'small' kid in a class.

英普班同英粵班我唔知點選擇好？請比Ｄ意見我參考吓！

英普班好似好Ｄ，但會唔會難考Ｄ？同埋應該都會較多人報英普班，咁入讀幾會又低Ｄ！！

唔知點算好！好擔心呀！

If you choose Eng/Put class, the child need to attend both Eng and Put interview and parent needs to answer question in the Put. interview too. As they expect that the parents will talk to them at home to review the work in school.

First you will attend the English interview (the child and parents need to answer in English) , then you will go to the other room for the Putonghua interview ( the child and parents need to answer in Putonghua, the teacher will ask the kid to show her something - the teacher says in Putonghua and the child needs to know what does the teacher ask him/her to do). The teacher will ask the parent who talks Putonghua to the child at home.

我interview 時冇用普通話都ok, 而我自己亦唔認講, 但我個囡之前返nursery都係讀英普班, 所以st cat 都收左佢喎~

相對來講英普班比較難考.因為全班只得20-30個位.
佢地係全部用普通話上課.
己英粵班就一星期裹只有1-2堂普通話.
同時你填報名表時應該係簡咗乜野班.
到時就會用乜野語言面試.

Hi all moms,

請問k1有幾多班是英普班及一班有幾多人呢? 因我都幫囡囡填英普班interview, 但事實上我們在家不是用普通話跟她交談, 但interview當天囡囡表現又出乎意料, 可能我有比囡囡返nursery, 如SC真是收了小女, 都唔知好唔好讀呢

我大仔讀緊SC upper class, 當時沒有英普班選擇, 所以不知英普班跟英粵班有多大分別, 如有家長可提供有關資料, 萬分感激

我個女今年讀英普班, 上年註冊時我問過老師, 佢話今年第一年有英普班, 全k1會有10班, 但只有兩班是英普班, 而我個女讀0個班其實係分為兩組, 某d堂佢地會分開兩組上堂 (每組15人左右), 但大部份時間都兩組人一齊上 (如音樂堂...), 每一組有一位普通話老師, 而英文老師則兩組share.

我個女之前nursery都有學PTW, 但一整年從未說過一句PTW, 相反, 返St. Cat. 一個月左右, 她已能用ptw說出各種顏色, 中文生字也能用PTW講出 (即這一個月老師教她的) , 放學後還經堂唱著PTW兒歌, 現在已上了3個月左右, 她已能完全明白PTW老師的意思 (因每個星期老師也會在堂上跟他們說下星期要帶什麼回校, 但老師/學校不會出通告或口頭跟家長講, 這樣可讓小朋友回家自已跟家長說, 證明他們在堂上所聽的是否正確), 頭一個月我個女完全無同我講過要帶乜, 但第二/三個月她已經能正確說出下星期要帶什麼回校, 這亦證明她也聽得懂老師所講.....這樣的成績, 我非常滿意, 因為在我家, 係100%沒有PTW溝通, 而我亦不太懂PTW, 依家佢有時還會糾正我們的發音.....

不過班中有幾位同學的爸爸OR媽媽係PTW母語, 所以某幾位同學的PTW也非常好, 在這個環璄下上堂, PTW當然進步神速, 所以我個仔今年也考英普班, 希望佢都入到英普班啦.

So, do you know the arrangement in Put/ Eng class? Are both teachers stay in classroom for 3 hrs or just stay for 20 mins only?

My daugther was accepted for the K1 Eng/Ptw class, can u pls tell me if they will have same arrangement for the K2 and K3 class in the future regarding the allocation of two teachers in the same class? Thanks!

Hello, just so happened, my girl is now in HKPS's 英普班 and got accepted by St. Catherine's 英普班 am class > same as your daughter, can you tell me more about the 英普班 in St. Cat? is it as good as HKPS's? I found that my daughter has learnt a lot of Madarin as well as English there, and she enjoys her school very much, I am not sure if I should go for St. Catherine.. and also she got accepted by KV am class, and which makes the decision more complicated!

Pls help!

我會揀SC /HKPS ,如果比較呢兩間, 我覺得差不多, 我係屋企好小講普通話, 而我兩個女會自己用普通話溝通, 尤其今年細女返咗SC後, 可能佢大個咗小小, 响學校又成日講啦。
男仔就HKPS, 不用轉都得, 女仔就可以轉, 因為按外面的報料, 小學的收生target好似女的
SC比較好, 而我所見(外面學嘢時), SC / HKPS 比較讓小朋友學得開心,而佢哋絕對唔會洩, 可能無KV的咁乖, 但絕對能自律/自理, KV比較適合本身乖的小朋友, 如果小朋友本身好有主見, 可能老師會用盡方法要佢聽話, 而過程會點呢? 呢個係我於另一個家長聽返嚟, 佢個小朋友俾罰企, 仲要低下頭, 不淮抬起頭, 所以佢轉校, 唔想個仔自尊心/自信心咁快受挫, 而佢個仔唔係話好洩。
最後, 其實小朋友係白紙, 我哋用心填, 佢哋就會更精彩, 大家努力, 希望大家都能用心去愛, Bye!!
