I just want to know if you get a set in first round on
26/11 successfully, will you still let your child takes the
private school (suppose that the private school is your
dream school for your child).

I am now thinking about this, can anyone share

我都有同一既問題....煩惱 !

我囡囡 1 st round 有25 分入天神嘉諾撒學校(一條龍上st mary 中學), 但心儀是PLK CKY (有2 nd interview).
但要俾龐大既學費因仲有細囡跟尾...而且未知道 PLK CKY 將來中學學費如何 ??? (暫時1個 OK, 將來 X 2 就剛剛好)
行IB 將來是否多數要出外讀大學?

大家有什麼意見 ?

如果係我，我多數會入天神,因為唔駛煩細囡,而且CKY既學費都幾貴,E個會唔會係妳既考慮之一呢,兩個小朋友仲要take課外活動同補習,所以真係要想清楚D,

而我得一個囡,所以想俾好D既佢,心儀既私校收左,有直屬中學既,但C6又唔想放棄FREE EDUCATION,因為俾左好多稅,但無咩福利可享用到,除左12年免費教育LAW

而我仲有間dss等緊result,所以個心15/16,anyway,我得15分係first round既機會都好細,而家只係consult下其他媽咪既意見作參考

VSA also runs IB, it's existing school fee is stated as follow for your reference.

S1 to S4 (IB MYP): HK$68,000
S5 to S6 (IBD): HK$88,000

You shall also count the inflation.

我都有諗過，但未決定到。一來好的津小不一定差過出名的 DSS 或私校；二來細仔九成九可以跟阿哥入埋同一間學校，唔駛煩。

但另一方面，DSS 或私校好多都可以直上中學，又真係十分吸引；唔駛五年後（呈分試、選校、派位......）再煩多一次。

I don't know SandyWu's case same as yours "through train" or not. As for your case, it's a high quality education already, of course go for free education. No need to worry about secondary school so you can have the $ for fun activities la! Enjoy life and your girls will appreciate also.
