hi SBW,
My kid is in HKPS -N1. I did had same case with u last year.
SC was 1st choice but then after I go thorught all topic @ both school, I finally aim for HKPS.
HKPS SC
- offers PN-K3 - offers only K1-K3
- net - all - net - not all
- area - 388 - area - 1456
- class - 4 class - class - 8 class
- ratio teacher 1:9.8 - ratio teacher 1 : 10.4
- $3300/month - $3300/month
- out door playground - out door palyground
Due to I prefer middle size of school for running. Plus I blieve that SC had hgh rate for Brand 1 primary due to they has a large size of students.
I remeber hardly that on the wellcome day, I saw at least 5 kids was in K3 who back to school to take pic with the teachers in PS. All the teachers can remeber every student's name which as close as a family. One of the girls was finally drop the tears cause she was miss the school. The mother told me that she had been upset over the week.
The principle, Ms Wong, also show us a profile for a student who had finished 4 yrs in PS. The profile was year by year with comment/pic/art work by the student+teachers. I can image the effort that every techer has put in.
Since I had been work a long period of time in china, I can easy tell the speak of mardain is genuine or not.I find HKPS teacher speak are correct to me.
There are 2 mardian teachers + 1 net in my kids's class. I remeber the 1st week was very hard for them due to some kids not even 2 yrs old. They still keep smile & try to be close to the kids who all ways crying.
Seems I talk too much on HKPS, but be true, I still be greatfully for what I choose for my kid due to they really care kids like a family.
**Must parent worry about they may be move in 2008, I am the same. As long the stuff is not change, I will still let my kid still with them.
