kychu123,
Are you a christian? If so, I suggest you pray and search for the lead of God.
The 2 schools you mentioned were also my choices. For me, I looked for christian schools (real one, not fake), with good leadership and curriculum that encourages happy learning and respect to individual child. I believe both schools qualify. However, God did not open the door of the ICQM to my son, but Logos, he did. Therefore, my life is simpler, just take what God has prepared. In fact, like what I have shared in another thread, I was once disappointed when ICQM rejected my son, but now I believe what God prepared is most suitable for him.
What I understand is that probably because of the emphasis of music training, ICQM would require the kid to be able to sit still/ with good concentration and discipline e.g. a parent told me that they even require the kid not to talk during lunch. This, will give my son a hard time to learn.
For Logos, I think the atmosphere of learning is more liberal, I do have some worry in class discpline, but seems that the parents here did not suggest that should be worried about.
Both school have good teaching staffs. My impression of ICQM's staff is good, especially from the sharing booklet they distributed to parents. The teachers are devoted christians with a lot of loving kindness to the kids. I also like their system of having the same class teacher for 3 years. For Logos, they have teaching staff of good qualification and well developed curriculum (compared with other schools that run IB)
Keep praying la! |
