Hi momandchris,

是否柏斯的 ? 如是, 我囡正上緊上學期. 已學了約半年快要完畢了. 我個人認為非常差. 缺點如下 :

1) 老師質數不太高
2) 太少以遊玩形式令小孩容易入腦. 很少教打拍子
3) 不懂得平衡學得快和慢的小孩的進度. 時時只顧遷就學得慢的小孩而使進度拖慢.
4) 對小孩的心理不了解. 我個囡的一班有6個小孩. 當中, 我囡是最快上手的. 很多時她講一次我囡已記得並可做到或講得出那個notes. 每次說"邊個識既就舉手出來示範", 每次都只有我囡舉手. 但那老師次次都唔叫佢, 乜都唔講聲就直接點名叫其他不懂的小孩出去試. 每次都是這樣. 使我囡怕了舉手. 佢覺得舉手老師會唔鍾意. 我個囡一直都係非常主動, 很有興趣學習. 就是這樣被那老師嚴重打激了她的自信心, 主動力和興趣. 我用了很多時間向我囡解釋方能令她接受和再次主動. 那位老師的教法實令我憤怒.
5) 沒有進度可言. 個了6個月只教了幾個符號. 其他人對我說一般小孩只須學2-3個月已能彈出簡單的歌仔. 在我來說實是浪費金錢和最重的是浪費了我囡的時間.

經過這經驗, 才深深地明白和體會到找一個好的老師是何等重要的事!!!

小小莫札特啟蒙班 is a very good course, but it takes a good teacher to teach. Not everyone has the capability to do that. They used to have a teacher who can stimulates a child's interest in music class, and is very encouraging. She even trained everyone to be perfect pitch (i.e. the child can tell which note you are playing on the piano without looking) But she's no longer working there. She started her own studio in T.S.T.

My child enrolled in that and loved it. Now she is playing good music. Guess I was lucky enough to have her as the teacher at that time.

我個B 3.5year 時都曾在柏斯學琴(小組), 個MISS真係好鬼差, 完全冇教幼兒的知識, 門口的sales重好!我個b有興趣學琴架, 但miss唔識'tum', 對兒童影響很大, 完左上學期就冇續啦!

但其實個課程是幾好的. 不過師資就.................

Hi Rhythm,

You should continue to use the book with other teachers.  It's a good set of books and it's very popular in US.  The author used to be a Yamaha Junior Music Course teacher.

My child finished the whole set before moving on to the Bastien's music.  She loved the CD and danced with the music.

I hope your child is still continuing her music lessons.  Don't let the class discourage you.  If you want, I can the tel number of the teacher who can teach the Little Mozart in a more attractive way.

I think it's really depends on your luck to get a good teacher?

Anson (now 3 years old) is also taking this course in Laguna City's Parsons. His class only has 3 students. And his teacher, Miss Chan is very nice, & know how to motivate their interest. Everytime, she will ask each of them to practise the music they just learn. Every one will then get some reward, like sticker/chop/candy. All 3 are very happy.

Is anyone learn course in Festival Walk, My one will start to learn in there on Mar, are their teachers there good?

For those had bad comments in Parson, please let me know which center your daughter were study in.

完全同意rhythm's 的講法﹐課程本來幾有特色﹐也很適合初初接觸音樂/鋼琴的小朋友﹐但授課老師太細個了﹐根本不懂得小朋友心理同沒有經驗去牽引她們。我大女兒學了兩期﹐之後第三期因為只剩兩個家長還有興趣﹐所以沒繼續。估吾到事隔兩年幾﹐個課程仍然依舊﹐柏X﹐失敗﹗

Mon 20:00 - 21:00    24-01-05

Hi all,
My daughter is taking a course at Laguna Parsons
every Sunday morning. She's 4 years and 2 months old. I forgot the actual course name , don't know if it's 小小莫札特啟蒙班.
She started the course around end of Aug (15 lessons for the first term), now started the 2nd term. Her teacher is also Miss Chan , she's nice and my girl likes her teacher very much. There're 5 children (4 girl,1 boy) in 1st term and for this term 1 child does not continue. Yes, I also find that a kind and caring teacher is very important. It applies to all
children classes( English, Dance etc).

I also want to let my son to enter this 小小莫札特啟蒙班 at Diamond hill when he is 2.5 yrs old. Can any mama give the comment of the course there.

N&I's Ma,
我個仔係九龍塘柏斯上了差不多兩個月, 個老師非常好,
很有愛心, 她和我們小朋友一起用音樂形式, 唱歌, Dance
and 學打拍子, 我個仔及其他小朋友都非常喜歡她,
小朋友們都主動拖她手一起玩.
