My daughter also received the notice for P.4 entrance examination for 2007-08. It is mentioned in the letter that English, Chinese and Mathematics will be tested.
I also what to know the chance of success. I guess it must be very difficult.

The letter only mentions that those shortlisted will be informed by phone. Does it mean there will be another interview after the examination? Anyone has experience?

筆試駛唔駛揀就唔知,但考完筆試之後,仲有2nd in架....有2nd都唔係一定得

我去過 DGJS網頁,個度話全部人都是同一日考筆試,如果想2至6年級插班的全部一齊,以DGJS既名,會唔會有幾千人一齊考試?壯觀過會考?

多唔多人2nd in 呢? 網頁冇講喎.其他人封信點講2nd in.

anyone has experience on that???

Do they have oral exam? What is the sucessful rate?? How many students will be elected?? Do they take all applicants to take the exam or they will only select a few of them to take the exam???

各位朋友好! 小女今日(29日)都有參加插班試, 她說只有兩班考生 (約七十多名) 參加考試, 而且份卷都頗難. 不知各位也有參加的家長, 可否分享一些訊息? 謝謝!

what grade does your daughter apply for??  Do you mean there are about 70 students applying for one grade?  If it is, that is extremely difficult!  I don't think they have many vacancy in one grade!

Was it all paper exam?  Do they also interview the parent?  When will they release the result!?

I guess your daughter must be very smart.  Is she strong both at academic and other talents??

Out of my expectation, not so many students sit for the entrance exam . I think around 70 to 80 students in total for all grades. My daughter said that the chinese paper was difficult but maths was easy. There was an unseen dictation for english.
