My friend just decided to choose Maryknoll Convent over SPC.

Advantages:
1.  Government subsidy
2.  Beautiful campus
3.  On par with St. Mary Canossian and close to DGS

For me, when the time comes, I still need to make that same decision, DGS, MKC, SMC, SFC or SHC.

我覺得St Paul's Convent好D。因為佢係私小，所有學生經過挑選。在K3成績好先可直上P1，學生的質素平均。

政府學校是抽簽派位的，學生質素參差。有人可以好差，有人可以好好，有人可以住豪宅，有人可以住九龍城取綜緩。但如果論名氣的話， Maryknoll 好D。

Nearly all P.6 girls in SPC will be promoted to F.1. No need to care about 呈分試。無咁大壓力!

Correct! In fact, I heard that there will be a number of K-3 students moving to other good schools like Marymount instead of staying in SPCS. Difficult decision for my friend though. He ranked DGS, MKC, SPC in that order for girls. I may not agree to it but this is the going ranking among parents, I think. Any other opinion?

I knew some of my girl classmates chose MMS and withdrew SPC.

Honestly, SPC is a my dream quality school on my mind. No pressure for secondary promotion. All classmates will be graduated together not only in K3, also in P6 and F6! But I am from ordinary family, I have to consider if more $$$ is required for her further academic courses in primary. If I am rich or win in mark six, I will exactly choose SPC.

I am not in rich actually and thus I need to consider if the cheaper one could also be as same output!

Then if I were you, I would definitely choose Maryknoll, for its government subsidy, better campus, and high reputation. For getting on to secondary school, just ask your daughter to work hard at it.
