Dear all,

Does anyone know
1) how the interview for P.1 would be conducted, e.g. English + Putonhua? Individual interview?
2) How long it takes?
3) Does it have to interview the parents?
4) Any special tips for preparation?

Thanks a lot in advance if you have the past experience for this particular school.

My son is P1 student in this school, hope I can help u.
1) As I remember, it would be conducted by Cantonese, asking about the general knowledge like "Do you know what is Mid Autumn Festival?" and "What kind of food you will eat at this festival?"
2) Only takes 5-10 mins.
3) Only students.
4) Wear smart casual (t-shirt and jeans) is suitable, no suits please.

Thanks KingNokMa. My son has been accepted for P.1. Really thanks a lot.

However, I had some worries too:

1) We would like to know how many daily homeworks does your son have? Any tips to keep your son adopted to the workloads + to keep him happier to go school.

2) How long does your son spend to finish homework daily? Any complaint?

3) Can he finish most of the homework by himself?

4) How many dictations per week?

5) How many native English Teacher are there?

6) Does the school teach Chinese using Putonghua?

7) When the St Joseph Secondary School becomes Chinese Secondary School and do you know why?
