we tried littxx gym in TST last sun. baby is 11 month. quite disappointed. the 45 mins session: w/ around 15 mins session of warm up activities and songs. then free play for around 25 mins and the last 5 mins: cool down(?) + bye bye song. loosely organized. n the class size is too big, around 20 kids w/ 2 instructors only. most importantly, no one taught u how to do the task/action w/ the kids or anything needed to pay attention to. re. equipments installed in the centre, only 1-2 items are suitable for a particular age range of kids. others would either be too easy or too difficult.

no idea if the centre in Hawaii is also like that.

i went to little gym @ tst once to buy a "hotsling" from the seller.
還以為他不錯,聽你咁講,實在太差了!
warm up+free play+cool down=即係冇教過嘢?!!
then, 我去gymboree試下先.

the feeling of "the little gym" is same as miumiu809, my baby is 10.5 months, I tried the class last Sat (24/11) but overall feeling is not quite good

My girl have gone to gymboree. I think is's very good. She enjoy it very much. The programme is very systemic. However, I don't think it is a playgroup but a learning group since all the time is structure play.

I prefer Gymboree. I joined their courses year ago. The staff there are nice and sincere. But it's quite remote.

The little gym gave me the feeling of too commerical.

i have a questions about how to go to Gymboree? i lived in kwun tong, i perfer travel by MTR?
any trial class there? which teachers should be better?thx!

It was long time ago when we went to gymboree. She was 6M when she attened her first class.
Usually,
they will start with a welcome song and some other songs.
Then they will explain the theme of the weeks (that usually last for 2 weeks) and have your free-time for 20-30 mins.
After that, they will have bubbles time and Gymbo time. (That's my daughter's favourites)
Finally, they will sing bye-bye song.
That's all for one lesson.

For my advice, you can try the trial lesson before you join the scheme to see whether your baby like the environment and the teacher or not.

Gymboree is just next to The Peak Tram Terminal.

LITTLE GYM 適合大些小朋友

我女三四歲參加沙田little gym, 佢好鍾意,價錢現在220一堂很貴,但有其他折扣, 我覺得little gym對大些小朋友好些,因是全英語,有專人按美國課程教體操,孩子們都很enjoy無壓力,又可訓練小朋友的身體協調等發展,最大得益是, 囡囡以前經常氣管敏感,晚上常咳又常看醫生,但上了gym約兩個月到,竟然意外地斷了尾呢,可能經常鍛練上身的原故,我覺得物有所值.至於細bb七個月起亦參加,但程序跟上述另一間一樣,得45分鐘,可能自己在家都可以做這些動作,相對來說就不及大個小朋友有用,因為大個很多器材都可以玩.

佢地都有試堂,試後即報有九五折,否則交回220試堂費,但佢一季有一兩次叫"bring a friend week",可帶新朋友試一次,試唔啱是免費的.有興趣我都可以幫有興趣的媽咪試堂,不過報讀與否,我都沒有佣金的!!

GYMBOREE有唔同AGE GROUP的課程，幾個月都有得玩了，我呀女1歲時去過試堂，覺得好好，但因為太遠無JOIN，到2歲幾再玩過，佢現在都成日話要去玩架
GYMBOREE就快搬去堅道了，對我來說重遠左！

我地住美國,相對平好多.
us$65一個月, 一個月玩4堂,
仲有一個星期6次free: Open Play - FREE for enrolled members. Offered 6 days a week. -->唔知呢樣係咩呢?

我地呢度仲有art, music, 唔知有咩分別呢? hk有冇? 我好似想join music多d... 因為佢好細個... 唔知5個月join music班係咪好d?
普通gymboree"play" 冇music架咩?
