急問?

我報咗仙慧K1,比咗留位費.今年8月返學,
其實我都有考慮明慧,但因為仙慧直頭喺我屋企留下,好方便,而且仙慧同明慧又好似差唔多,(唔知啱唔啱?)所以揀仙慧,
但其實我都覺得自己好予盾,左搖右擺,之前in過寶血收咗,但又唔想佢搭校車,所以放棄,
我真係唔知仙慧好唔好?
大家有冇comment?
比啲意見我?
唔該!

I do not have any comment on 仙慧 as I have never checked any news on this.

However, I will not consider 明慧,但因為明慧 is very commercial and money-minded.  My boy has been accepted by 明慧, but I did not pay for enrolment fee.

Finally, I picked 寶血.  I am the old girl of 寶血 as well.  You may serve takeing 校車 is a kind of training of indpendence for your kind.

Hi!
我都有諗過明慧,但又覺得好似好commerical,所以先考慮仙慧,但我而家又擔心仙慧會唔會太簡單冇嘢學,到時驚銜接唔到小一!勁煩!就算我而家比咗留位費都仲15/16,死未?
我想請問聲如果揀明慧國際班,咪無得用學券?
咁幾錢學費?
國際班嘅意思係咪全部用英文教學?同埋係咪用外籍老師?
咁點解你唔揀維多利亞?

Shala,

I have not considered Victoria as I want my boy to have education at a more traditional school, especially those which can have more discipline training.

You may check the P.1 admission chart, a lot of kids from PBK can be accepted by Henessary Primary.

咁你係咪住北角?如果係咪要好早起身你係咪搭校車?其實我聽人講寶血程度都係比較淺唔知啱唔啱?
軒尼詩小學唔係攪珠咩同讀邊間幼稚園有關係咩?
我最後都放棄寶血,其實我住北角,但因為最後我都係唔想囝囝搭校車所以give up!已經冇咗$6xx留位費.
我而家都好煩,睇下大家可唔可以比啲意見我?
我喺仙慧又咗留位費$550仲交埋張學卷比佢.
但仙慧好多新移民.(如果係真又唔想讀)
又想報明慧國際班(可以學多啲英文),但要$30xx學費,又唔可以用學卷,好似好唔底.
聽人講佢嘅國際班大概有2-3個外籍老師,其餘係外國回流嘅華人任教,都唔知實際值唔值?抑或報本地班算,但本地班學英語機會好少.
我喺度諗如果報明慧國際班不如報維多利亞,學費應該相差$1000,但都係唔可以用學卷又要搭校車,究竟點算好?
1.讀仙慧抑或讀明慧本地班?
2.讀明慧國際班值唔值呢?
3.讀維多利亞但要搭校車?
同埋我想問呢三間係咪都係比較淺?我驚太輕鬆到小學追唔上.
真係唔好意思我諗大家睇完都會覺得我好煩,但真係好希望各位靚媽咪能夠比啲意見我?如果係你,你會點揀?

I live in Quarry Bay.  I will let my boy to take school bus so that he can be trained up his independence.

How to decide??  It is up to what is in your mind.

I have learnt from a famous educator.
The most important is to let your kid to have good mother tongue, which can give him the good foundation to build up his analytical skill.
This is also a reason that I pick PBK as most of the kids from PBK are good at Maths.

After 6 years old, most of the kid can pick up English very quickly.  You may train him up by watch English channels and reading English books.

My boy (3 year-old) can understand English quite well as he watches English TV/DVD and I tell English stories.

If you do not have any financial problem, put away your voucher.  Voucher should not be one of your consideration.

Remember, do not scare your kid of heavy workload (homework).  Kinder is his/her "honey-month".  Otherwise, he will "hate" going to school or study.

The above is only my personal opinions.

You should have your own choice as you are the mother.

Hi Shala,

I understand how puzzle you are as I'm also in the same position: I want to move my daughter to SKH in K2, but miss Victoria.  It's really difficult to make decision and I hope someone can help me!  

Regarding your questions, as I've passed this stage, I hope the following can help you:

1.  Actually you've said you prefer 明慧 as "仙慧好多新移民.(如果係真又唔想讀)"??

2.  讀明慧國際班值唔值 depends on whether you think English foundation is important or not.  Actually the school fee is much cheaper than other international school.  Or course, the quality.......???

3.  If you live in North Point, you can just take the tram or other transport to go to Victoria.  No need to take the school bus if you don't want. However, actually have you applied Victoria?  Today is already the last day of registration for K1and K2 in Victoria!  For PN class, I think you'd better phone up the school on Monday.  

Regarding academic level, I think the level in Victoria is quite high as compared with other kinders.  For the other 2 kinders, I'm not quite sure.
