讀公文好唔好?佢個形式係咪好似補習社主要都係做worksheet and paper

Hi ,

Each week 1 lesson, each lesson has 30 minutes.
Teacher will give 1 week's homework, suppose to
do homework everyday.

Actually it depends on student's attitude and nature.
My eldest son has a good succcss in learning Kumon
Maths, but my youngest has quited Kumon Maths
due no good result and no interest to do homework.

Do you children study English lesson in Kumon ? I just know that their teacher aren't Native. Is it useful for learning English in Kumon ? thank you.

佢個形式係主要都係做worksheet and paper --> Yes.

I don't see that doing tons of drills will help the kids in the long run. In short term they may improve a bit as a consequence of "mechanical" training. But I would prefer to give kids training on THINKING.

Hi,

Before my elder son took Kumon Maths and
Kumon English. But he was too lazy to do Kumon
English homework (sometimes he did whole week
homework in 1 night) and not listen to CD, so I
stopped Kumon English and changed to oral lesson (teacher is British).

If your kid can do English homework and listen to CD everyday , Kumon English is good.

公文只對低年級有少少用，無助啓發思考。
