我想問如果我個女下年5歲，我想同佢返温哥華讀書，咁佢應該係讀嘜嘢班，同埋有冇邊間好啲嘅學校提供？thank you！

In Vancouver, all kindergarten start at age 5.
Before you find the school, where do you live and that is the main factor for you to choose which school.

5yrs start kindergarten,
6yrs G1 onward

As getting to elementary school has to be in your distrtict or you have to request to change, I suggest you not to stress which school instead of getting to know what school in your area.

Plus I dont think we should follow Fraser report since it is too controversal and personally I believe all elementary are similar. Wait until your child go to high school, then you should be more careful on which one is good.

Agree with xother that most public elementary school in Burnaby is similar. Southern part of Burnaby is closer to Metrotown, with easy access to Chinese supermarket. Northern part of Burnaby is more quiet but further away from the big malls.
