Do you happen to know how to find a university student or a high school student to help out my year 8 son in doing his homework?  Thanks.

Look for the upper years students from your son's school.  At least they know what're the requirements.

If you don't know any parents, maybe you can try to speak to the social worker who stations at your son's school or PTA, they should know someone.
