小冬冬創意樂園 at 荃灣愉景新城商場. My daughter join their class nearly 6 months and she enjoy it.

hi axa,
Littleton-tel is 2940 0123. Littleton course fee is quite high. the reason why I let my daughter go there because the play area is big and they hv playgroup available on sunday morning. if you find saturday playgroup, there is a lot of centres available.
you also can try Lemon Tree at 麗城廣場-tel #24123434.

JollyClown in Nan Fung Centre 19/F.. That's good .My daughter joined it when she was18 months. It hsa Saturday afternoon section.You can call and get information .

Did anyone try "platform"? Just felt no comment about this centre except seems an advertisement while I saw this name "recommended" in different topic everytime

Any other comments?

I also wanted to try Jolly Clown. Comments seems quite good in the past. The space is good enough for kids? How is the teacher? Tough or not?

I did have a trial lesson of playgroup of “platform” a few days ago. The teacher is nice & experienced to handle the children. In general, it’s quite good.
It is Cantonese base with English time or Mandarin time. In my own opinion, it is better than that with foreign teacher using only English. I had some bad experiences to try playgroups with foreign teachers who are non-experienced (seem to be part-time).

年初五，我帶了囡囡參加platform的新春playgroup試玩班，導師EVA教得不錯，看得出她很有經驗及很用心設計內容。我和囡囡都很開心，過了一個很開心的年初五，而且亦見到其他小朋友很喜歡EVA。如無意外，我應該幫囡囡報名，因囡囡偶然也會問我何時再去platform，她說很想再跟EVA姐姐玩。不過，我和丈夫正討論，應否報一間用外籍導師教的playgroup。

我最初帶小孩子報playgroup都是這樣考慮，報一間由外籍導師教的親子班，但試過三個月後，發覺兩頭不到岸，錢浪費了不是問題，而是孩子既學不到英文，又上得不開心。
最後，我決定將“學英文”與“學前預備”兩樣東西分開，不宜為了省錢而將兩樣不同的東西混為一談。
現在，我的小朋友在星期六早上在金鐘的英國文化協會學英文，下午，在家附近參加playgroup。所以，我個人認為應該不用考慮playgroup是否由外籍導師教的問題。
