Hi, Rachel'Mom,

We've joined LittleGym since 11months of my BB, but we quited already. It is because they change teachers frequently and the "management" now is not that professional on "kid education" but just "commercial --- i.e. money oriented"

However, if your kid is small (e.g. <1.5 years), I think you can join 'cos there are many activities to train BB's muscle and build up their confidence (of course, it depends on whether you can meet a good teacher. The Best one is Ms. "Tohnia" but she left LittlyGym months ago.

Does anyone know where she is?)

Hi，我好想好想join近似的活動，因為bb的大小肌發展得痳痳，只是我都聽聞LittleGym唔好，請問你有否轉去另一間玩呢？

I'm still searching activities for my BB. For developing muscle, you can try MyGym (HungHom) or GymBorie (Admiralty). They have trial lesson. However, I can't comment them 'cos I have just been there once.

For other development, you may try Kids' Gallery (Kowloon Tong) which I am studying their courses to see whether we join or not.

I tried Heep Hong's baby gym, Gymboree and Little Gym. My baby likes them all. For Gymboree and Little Gym, it's mainly a 45 min session for kids to run and jump and do exercise. After you learn the technique, you could assist the kids to practise at home. I also agreed that the program isn't very attractive for 2.5+ yrs old kids, if you have joined the program once (i.e. 1 semester), you would find the 2nd semester doing similar things again and again, i.e. quite boring at the end.

my son joined the Little Gym in shatin and later another playgroup in Fo Tan -> Agaplay. he enjoyed both but i found agaplay more professional in the sense that they have different exercises to train specific muscle groups. they don't just use gym stuff but a lot other equipments. one of their instructors is a physiotherapist and she can advise ways to strengthen particular muscle group. my son was afraid of vigorous motion but now he likes their swings in the playgroup a lot.

I went to the Little Gym in TST this past Sat for a trial class. My baby is 14 months old and she looked like she was having fun seeing all those kids around her and running around without fear of falling and hurting herself. After the trial I have signed up for the semester which consists of 19 classes, so it will last all the way to June. I paid about $3,200 for it. I agree with comments from some of the mommies here that by June I will probably switch my daughter to Gymboree so that she can try a new environment instead of going back to the same place all the time.
