Quite struggle btwn this two kindergartens.
(a) AM class at Kiangsu & Chekiang (my desire class)
(b) AM Class English/Cantonese Int'l nursery class at Victoria CWB (not my desire class as Eng/Mandarin class rejected and assigned Eng/Cantonese)
To me, I would like my son to learn mandarin as soon as he can and that's why I applied KCPSK for him. And more importantly, I can feel that KCPSK's school tradition seems more sincere and honest but my husband prefer Victoria as he said the school environment seems better and more civilize than KCPSK.
Can anyone give some advice? If you're me, how do you choose?
If you want your son learning very good mandarin, for sure KCPSK is better than Victoria with outdoor playground which Victoria doesn’t have. However campus of KCPSK is old and I also found some of their toys are broken and very old during the day of interview. Whereas Victoria has strong English language compared to KCPSK.
Two kindergartens have different teaching approaches so you need to consider what you desire from the school which fit for your son.
My girl admitted by Kornhill Victoria (English/mandarin) pm class and I just found that they don’t have am class (English/Mandarin) after I received acceptance letter so I decided to give up.
We have made up our mind. My husband seems very insist to put our son into Victoria as some of his friends have been doing education-related works said Victoria is not the best out of all but definitely better than KCPSK. Anyway, I will let him in first, we can always shift if we found it not suitable.
