聖公會, 靈糧堂, 呂郭碧鳳, 三間幼稚園邊間好d?

想問問大家，聖公會(畢拉山)、銅鑼灣靈糧堂，以及愛群道呂郭碧鳳幼稚園，哪一間的教學方式較好？另外，接駁小學方面，哪間較優勝？

因為小兒有幸獲得這三間幼稚園的上午校取錄，令我這個作為父親的，興奮之餘卻大感頭痛，請多多幫忙﹗

聖公會, 靈糧堂, 呂郭碧鳳, 三間幼稚園邊間好d?

小兒有幸獲得三間幼稚園，聖公會(畢拉山)、銅鑼灣靈糧堂，及愛群道呂郭碧鳳幼稚園，取錄為上午校K1學生，但三間學校的教學方式截然不同？請問各位有經驗的家長，可否賜教？

另外，接駁小學方面，哪間較優勝？

呢三間都曾取錄小女, 個人覺得三間都係好幼稚園, 名氣以聖公會最嚮, 呂郭碧鳳比較一般, 其實你面試時應已感覺到啦, 呂郭碧鳳都曾在教署拿獎, 應有一定保證

三間都唔可以直上小學, 傳聞...聖公會好多小朋友入聖保羅男女(直資), 靈糧堂比較分散, 呂郭碧鳳軒尼詩較多

個人覺得...如果家長偏向純港人學校, 呂郭碧鳳未必係一個好選擇, 但老師們似乎都好有愛心, 唔差

請問最終妳的女兒選擇了哪一間幼稚園，是三者擇一，還是三間都放棄了？

I think it depends what you want and waht you expect from your kid.  Or you can let your kid to choose....(which place your kid like to go)

I did not apply SKH and my son has also accetped by LKPF and LLC this year.

For SKH, it is a traditional kind of school but the academic / education is excellent compared to the rest.  However, it may not be as transparent as the other 2 (you can tell by their website). English level is good.

LKPF accepts my son as full day.  The school and the teachers are good.  But the environment is not that good.  All the K1 classes will take place at G/F in which have a total of 4 classroom.  2 out of 4 did not have window and the open area is not that big.  I also known that a lot of Chinese studying there (see if you mind or not).  40% of students go to Hennessary Govt PRimary School

LLC is a happy school that it will stimulate self-learning.  But somehow my son did not show much interest.  As per my observation, the older teachers are good but those young one are not caring from their heart. The distribution of Primary School are quite scattered.  But if you want your kid to be fun, this school may be good.

By the way, I finally decide to go to Precious Blood (both myself, my husband and my son love the environement, teachers and teaching method).

Thanks for your infomation and comments on those schools.

At this moment, it seems like SKH is better than LKPF and LLC.

First of all, the environment is quite different, SKH has more open space than other two.

Secondly, my wife prefer traditional education than stimulate self-learning, because my son is quite active but not too discipline.

The problems I still concern is what kind of primary schools SKH link with, transparency of the school (Just like you mentioned).

One more silly question, are most of the children studying in SKH come from "rich" family?

i share the same thinking with you.  my boy is the outgoing but not too discipline type - so my preference is:

1. SKH (MB)
2. PB
3. LLC (CB)

the above + (less pleasant environment) explained why LLC ranks 3rd.

for SKH and PB, the environment of both are excellent.  i think PB is a very good school and children will be very happy there.  yet, i'm concerned about the English standard and the primary allocation.  it seems that PB's allocation to DSS schools has not been outstanding.  so SKH is my choice. (I'm not sure if SKH parents are rich, but my son is accepted and i'm not rich wor.  What's your concern?)

for LKPF, i didn't apply.  i know that the school is rather demanding on parents' involvement (e.g. voluntary work,  親子activities).  as a working mum, i'd say that this is not my cup of tea.

however, i think i'd waste the registration fee of SKH and PB schools as i'd probably move away from the HK island.

我們最終選擇係聖公會(五擇一), 係後補, 其實一直都係意屬真光, 都係受名氣所累

但真係無選擇錯, 唯一係不能好似真光直上小/中學

另外, 聖公會係活動教學o架, 同靈糧堂一樣

OT, 真光真係如想像一樣, 係收生過程中察覺....好

另有些少心德交流o下

請細心閱讀他們公布的派位結果, 原則上資助小學係依政府派位方法, 即自行收生+統一派位, 係目弟父母同學校關係+攪珠結果, 呂郭碧鳳之所以多派軒尼詩, 可能主因係同區關係

等於聖瑪加利大校長所說, 她們係無關係小學, (但很大%去聖保祿小學), 其中原因可能很多家長係天主教徒或校友或同區, 聖保祿小學原則上係不能選擇學生

我兩個小朋友都在呂郭碧鳳讀k1, 這是一間很有愛心同教育理想的學校, 上至校長, 下至老師們都對小孩充滿愛心, 而且學校肯作多方面嘗試, 課程內容多元化, 不著重死谷, 我兩個小朋友卻不知不覺中學到了很多知識. 他們在教授數學方面又得到優質教育基金資助, 有一套完善的系統教數學. 我好開心我為佢地揀到一間好的幼稚園. 家長方面, 質素不錯,開學兩個多月已和其他家長到學校聚會2-3次了, 很多也是中產家長.

Stimulate self-learning = Becoming Super-Active?

男仔多數都係比較活躍吧?
