有無媽咪星期六去interview時, 見到維記門口貼左applicant的名, 你地知唔知總共有幾多人apply?

I'm sure. The school has printed out all the application no. on a big white poster. I has also checked my son's no.
But I was in a hurry and so has no time counted.
I'm just curious about the no of application in this year as there is not so much vacancy.

I did check with Victoria Kornhill. Two kindergartens at Kornhill only have 77 seats in total for K1 2007-2008. It is really not much vacancy.

I've checked with Victoria HMT and the receptionist said there would be only 40 seats for am session (Anglo-cantonese) and 10 seats for pm session (Anglo-putonghua). And she said that there were about 400 applications.

It's seem terrible.
That means only 1 out of 10 will be OK.
I think it's not so competitive in the past years.
Do you know why there were so many application this year?

But my friend told me that it was same same in the past few years! Don't worry, not much mamis would treat it as their first choice! Actually, SC and KV would absorb most of the kids in kowloon area!

Is Victoria your first choice? To me, it is the second choice because it's quite far from my home.
