Victoria switch to ISF?

My son is studying P1 in Victoria now.  Although it mentions "IB" school, I find that there is no difference with local schools for the homeworks, subjects, pressure etc.  Everyday my son  have to spend lot of time to do his home works, preparing the chinese dictation and even to reading.  He always compliants no time to play.   

I heard about ISF before, is it worth to switch to this kind of school now (p1)?  

Any Victoria and ISF parents, pls adv and comment.   :cry:

My kid is also P1.  

Everyday, I am busy to handle my kid because I am working mother.  I have only around 2 hours with him. I always think that the problem is me not the school.  

I heard that the academic level of ISF is higher than Victoria.  I don't believe that the pressure in ISF is less than Victoria.

May I know what pressure you have.  Can we share?

Hi LaLaWong and PanPanChan, nice to meet Victoria mamas here, my boy is also studying in Victoria P1, and I find the homeworks so far are quite manageable, and he seems to be happy all the time, the approach to teaching English and "OI" is defintely "learn through play". For Chinese it has to be based on a more traditional approach simply because of the nature of the Subject although I was quite surprised at first to know that they are also encouraged to do "每日一篇".
Would there be any difference in syllabus amongst different classes?  or would it be due to different teaching style of different teachers? My son is quite lucky that both of his English and Chinese class teachers are very nice and patient. so far I am very satisfied with his school life and progress.
