I want to apply for the parent-child tennis course orgainized by HK Tennis Association. Are the coaches there ok? Any other suggestions?

How old is your kid? If s/he is around 4.5, it is better to take the elementary. You can still participate in the course when needed, while giving some chances for your kid to play with other children. The coach in my kid's class (elementary) welcomes parent to join.

Thank you for your reply. Is your kid's class held at QE? How do you find the course? I hesitate whether to let my son who is now 3 years old to join the family class as my hubby think that my son is too young to hold the racket let alone to control it.

Yes, my kid's class is in QE. Your hb is right. Your son may find difficulty in handling the racket even it is a shorter one.

If you join the family class, you have to be prepared that you are able to spend 1.5 hrs with him every time. Moreover, you need to do warm-up with him at the beginning each time. It includes running around the court twice and strolling once, and 10 mins stretching exercise. From my observation, not too many children joined the family class in QE.

It depends on the no. of the sessions and duration of the course period (2 months as one period). For QE's Sept & Oct class (8 seesions, 1.5 hr per session), it costs $570 ===> $47.5 per hr.
