Apply to both, and get yourself admitted by both first.
Then ask what the personality of your girl is.  Then ask what you want out of a primary education.

Asking the question in the abstract is like asking whether you should send your kid to Oxford or MIT.  It is quite meaningless.

both are so good, yet but both are so different.
1.co-ed vs girls
2.HK vs Kowloon
3.academic vs ECA comparatively
i remember i was being accepted by DGJS for P.1 but not St Paul's co-ed, and at that time i always thought that SPCC is the best.

Thank you Kissie,
I have some more questions: you mean St Paul's is more academic? What is ECA?
What was your experience in DGJS? What is your comment to the girls school and English learning environment. Will it take a lot of effort to catch up? Is it very competitive?
I've got a friend who will write a recommendation letter for my daughter to either 1 school. I have to decide it in early September.

ECA = extra curricular activities
DGS is more active whereas SPCC seems to be putting more emphasis on academic, but i do believe students of SPCC are very capable.
i still think that both are equally good but do consider the location, travelling time, and co-ed vs girls. this is quite important.

Agreed with anxiousparent. Apply to both first. Like my son, he was admitted by both SPCC and DBSPD when he was in P. 3, then I made a decision then.
