如果中學唔係妳考慮的主要因素,兩間都是很好的小學,
St. Paul's Boys 是直資,比較小班.
St. Joseph是津貼,一班有38至39人.
St. Joseph上中學競爭大,讀書壓力不輕.全級要考80名內才可保證上番自己中學.
St. Paul's Boys如果唔係太差,都可以上番自己中學.
兩間中學都有過百年歷史,名氣相當.
在學界各項比賽及學術成績上,St. Joseph似乎稍為出名.

聽人講,ST.PAUL係貴族學校,會有鬥身家的情況,當然如果有咪冇所謂

另外,我想打聽下ST.JOSEPH係咪好多測驗,默書同功課,普通資質小朋友會唔會好辛苦?

St Paul Boy並非甚麼貴族學校, 中產家庭為主, 始終要交學費嘛, 但也有申請減免費機制, 學生間也沒有太多比較, 因為男仔對這些無女仔那麼敏感, 學校功課其實比其他學校少, 每天3-4種, 加埋改正最多5/6樣, 暑假根本無功課(家長自行安排另計), 06/07年度中文改為普通話授課, 英文一向是這家小學強項, 學校幾年後會搬到新校舍.

St Joseph功課量當然多很多, 同學間競爭非常厲害, 名次比較要計到小數點後2-3個位才可分出高下, 甚至體育音樂差一點便落後十幾名, 當然家長壓力不少, 很多小朋友小一開始便要補習.

如何選擇, 見人見智!

我想問雖然St Paul Boy的功課沒有St Jo那麽多,但它是全日制,而St.Jo則是半日制(所以功課較多),所以會否St Paul Boy 即使得3-4樣功課,但安排課餘補習也較困難嗎?

St Joseph功課量not 很多,名次比較要計到小數點後2-3個位 because we have 8 classess each of 40 students. 體育音樂not 差一點便落後十幾名,In fact, the marks of these subjects aren't effect so musch.Moreover, there are not 很多小朋友小一開始便要補習.

其實, 入讀任何一間名校都有壓力, 就算一條龍又點ar, 讀得吾好都要 out, o尼個世界就係o甘現實 :-|
講真, 兩間都好,最緊要小朋友 and 家長適應到個教學模式。

Do you mean that the top students get 100 marks in all major subjects in P6?

As P6 syllabus involves more composition (for Eng and Chin) and complicated reasoning (e.g. math, science), usually it is difficult to get full marks - unless the papers are very easy!

Which school use the NET to teach English ?

If the English standard of both schools are same, I think NET is very important, do you agree ? At least the listening skill and pronuciation skill of the student can be improved !

其實P.6有無可能科科主科都100分

(Sorry!只是疑問!),因為P.6程度較艱深不同於P.1 or P.2,好像中文作文和英文composition都無乜可能會滿分,再加埋social studies.如果係咁,攞平均分85-89都可能無掟企

should also consider their religious background, are you catholic or anglican?

should then consider cost too, one is free, the other you have to pay.

what about his spare time, you want him to go home earlier or not.

CD參加過St.Paul 簡介會,意即Miss Chan 話primary only 85% 上中學,not really一條龍.

我亦親自聽過St.Paul家長講去年中學依成績收到考60左右。Of course, 最勁的走咗，最後會收多啲。St.Paul好肯定唔係直升，但遲改唔改就唔知。(Miss Chan話向中學爭取中)

其實，係St.joseph讀，一路都知自己個仔屬邊band,唔係到P.6才知。家長哭，of course, 人人都想自己個仔上到中學。

去年開始，各級exam paper已唔派(亦唔知marks)，大家只知自己test分，而學校一向話test分唔計落名次，P.5 - P.6 亦一向無班名次，無級名次(教局規定),今年直情P.4 都無埋級名次。P.5 & P.6, 老師只會講仔仔考第幾至第幾之間(class), so全級考前10名應是P.1-P.4 之事。

St.Joseph 無乜problem要slove，今年升P.1 仍沿old policy.之前85%英話教學就bother 左一輪, 今年會考total 310A, 歷屆最高，又會安心啲 there is no free- lunch for students in famous schools。

St.Paul primary 係好學校，Miss Chan 來了3,4 年，搞得好好，亦無人異議。

我個仔去年 ,平均92.5，全級6名內，final 91.5, 15名內。Music, 體育,Art 不是次次A.有次仲係C，我唔會講我個仔邊級，我唔係想show off.只係也想告之大家，我亦係第一身information.

低年級嘅平均分就會高啲，98.xxx平均分應是P.1 or P.2，of course, P.3 也可能，但should not P.5 or P.6.
