I got the letter this morning also and there will be no school on 4th Sep as it will be the orientation for K2 and K3 students.
According to the telephone conversation this morning, I was told that the school hours are as follows: 1st Sep -> 11:30 - 12:30, 5th Sep to 15th Sep -> 8:45 - 11:10, 16th Sep onwards -> 8:45 - 12:10 (normal). But the office girl told me that 1 parent is allowed to accompany with the kid on the first day of school only. Not even on 5th Sep already.

Just to remind all of you, you need to prepare:
1. a pair of black or white shoes for your girls
2. a pair of plain white running shoes for their PE lessons. (Sorry, I didn't ask for the boys).
As I was told that girls can wear both black and white shoes together with their summer uniform. However, they are only allowed to wear black shoes in their winter uniform.
3. Also, we need to get ready for the student photos in summer school uniform.
4. Buy white short socks for them.
5. No need to prepare stationeries for them as the school will provide them to the kids.
6. Prepare a small cup and a box for snacks and also a wet handkerchief maybe
7. school bag will be given to us on the first day of school
8. textbooks will be given to the kid while they are having the first lesson
