I was so happy when i received the interview time was 10:30, because i don't need to worry about my daughter may feel sleepy. However, this morning when we arrived the school at 10:20 and get into the classroom at 10:30. The room was really crowded. Then my daughter started to play with the toys that been placed on the table, but actually, there are only few kind of toys to choose from.And after 1hours playing , my daughter get bored with the toys and i keep taking her to have a walk at the corridor and to the toilet. Unfortunately, after the long wait , she finally feel sleepy and at 11:50 am she almost fall asleep. At 12:00 sharp , there was a teacher looking for us to have an interview, and at that time, my daughter of course didn't co-operate as she could be , and this interview only took 3 mins.

All i wanted to said is, i don't know why is this school group all the interviewers to wait for so long ( in the room there is only 2 teachers) . i believe the school should know how many applicants has apply for an interview , and why don't they arrange the time slot better than it was!

hello BCMC,
is it the one in oxford road?
my interview date and time is next week at 10:00,
as my son is going have another interview at10:30 in another school, is it mean that my son and i can only go to one interview. i remember i have asked the school, they said the interview start at10:00, why they need the child to wait for so long? is not making sense...

the school i went is 71 Boundary St. Kln.

i really don't know why they have such a bad arrangement for the parents and the kids . And it makes me really upset and angry after the interview.

我唔係in呢間, 不過係第二間分校, 都一樣混亂, 不過我想share係當日interview的老師好騎呢...

首先, 又係入到去課室, 好多人, 好混亂, 求其搵個位坐, 無人理.
跟住有個好後生的老師埋來, 想同我的小朋友傾計, 最騎呢的係--- 佢連小朋友的名都叫錯!!! 個名唔係深字, 真係比佢嚇親. 即刻改正佢啦, 心諗, 中文水準都咁唔掂!!!!
但小朋友掛住玩, 無理佢, 佢咪走開啦...

跟住無耐第二個老師埋來, 個樣有d經驗, 好有耐性咁引小朋友講野... 跟住佢走開左, 我個小朋友又走左去第二張枱玩, 當時第一位騎呢老師正在in另一個小朋友!

騎呢野又黎-- 我個小朋友玩緊用玩具刀切切, 呢個老師見我個小朋友玩得咁開心.... 竟然出手夾硬搶佢的刀仔, 想比佢in緊的小朋友玩!!!!!!!! 嘩想點呀!!!!
最搞笑, 我個囡死唔放手, 佢繼續用力搶!!!! 我同果個家長都坐在那裡, 齊齊望住....... 我心諗咩事呀! 你仲搶, 咪玩啦!

跟住, 佢搶到, 問果個小朋友呢個咩黎架, but 無人理佢!!!

跟住出面hall又話校監講野, 真係唔知in好定聽佢講野好, 好在daddy一齊去, 派佢出去聽.

好了... 求其in完咁啦, 出去, 勁多小朋友已經在playground玩到癲左, 聽到有個daddy問個mammy, "個仔in左未架?"

成件事, 好似去左open day咁囉....
見到有些家長, 著到好似去見工咁, 又老西又套裝, 搞到好怪相, 因為好似去playgroup玩似d....

咁無system都得

學校通知信寫預45mins for interview, 然後另一方面45mins for聽校長講座~

封信就寫一位家長出席, 但前日打黎就叫兩位家長一齊出席~ 我即時心唸..... 又唔係confirm收, interview完就算啦, 仲要晒45mins聽講座; 呢個11月sat morning猛時忙於其他學校interview和拎form, 晒人大拿拿1.5 hours??

基於佢唔係我心儀學校, 所以我今日放棄左唔去

我得一個女女，最好找一間我認為無太大壓力讀書又想認受性高的幼稚園
今日去咗x思、又一村及浸幼，由取表至面試都有唔同感受。既然講x思，我就覺得有教學理念幫助啓發學生思考亦今曰有時間等面試。好彩老師面試夠認真好快去隔離學校考，個人觀察x思各老師整體對各小孩子不過不失。不過去到裝修中的校舍瞭解附近環境，竟然嚇一跳...左有道堂右有時鐘酒店。x思好與唔好我都唔知

我今日都同你經歷差唔幾遠! 真係身同感受, 我in10點, 入到去課室感覺同你一樣, 好迫好嘈好亂, 梗係啦, 同一時間, 有成10個小朋友加埋廿幾個家長, 我仔仔亦係玩左差唔多成個鐘無哂gas至有老師過嚟問佢野, 我個仔好少少都未眼瞓, 但係就經已對枱面上嘅玩具無哂興趣, 同無哂mood, in 完之後, 我留番響樹聽阿博士講野, Daddy就送阿仔返屋企食飯同叉電等下晝另外interview, 點知聽完講座, 我諗阿仔都無乜希望囉, 因為阿博士臨尾補充話, 佢地鼓勵足3歲入學, 年尾出世嘅小朋友家長, 千祈唔好心急喎, 唔係會害左個小朋友

:-D **弟弟11月11日出世啦! 4哥好錫弟弟呢!** :-D

I think I am lucky, my interview time was 9:30am, when I arrived, not many people in the school and classrooms, I arrived at 9:25am, checked-in at the reception and then walked up to the classroom at around 9:30am, met the teacher at around 9:35am, interviewed for 3 minutes, then, my baby left at 9:40am... I returned to the school in the afternoon for Open Day (as I have nothing to do in the afternoon), my baby had lots of fun at the Open Day...

BUT... I don't think they will give me offer, as Dr. Luk emphasized at different talks saying that they prefer students living nearby, the first question (actually, this is not a question) from the teacher at the interview was "Wow... you live in MOS, really far away bor...

", then, she shook her head...

P囝囝,
她們講的都不是牛津道那間
10:00in 一定無可能10:30去另一間,就算準時,一出一入都唔夠時間.大人見工都無可能那麼快搞掂

我上年早到,在地下玩,大約遲15-30min可上房,那兒有玩具,也有老師陪,一點也不悶.一路玩一路等叫名入另一間房.我覺得安排OK,始終IN小朋友甚麼事也可發生,一定要預鬆D

Hi! I've got one son and now he's studying K1 in Creative Kindergarden (the one you've mentioned) started from this year. This school quiet OK. You can consider....

P囝囝,
牛津道那間 does not belong to the same group what the parents are mentioning.
牛津道那間 is Creative Primary School's Kindergarten, both Primary School and KG are located at the same address.
The others are called Creative Kindergarten, which has a Primary School called Chan's Creative Primary School on Boundary Street.

Hi everyone, i went to creative primary kindergarten today at 11:30am and then the teachers ask us to go upstair in to the classroom play the toys around 15 mins with another 4 or 5 children then went to another room to do the interview and we finished at around 12 pm, i think may be this is not the one that you mention? I feel that this school is quite big and tidy the classroom is clean and also the toys are new and there are a lot of different kinds of story books, it seems quite good to me but my first and second choice are still st.catherine and kentville.

I went to the interview today, and I also felt very disappointed. I waited over half an hour, and no teacher came to interview my son until I asked them. (at that time not very crowded , I came at 9:00). Then the interview just took 1-2 minutes. The teacher didn't even ask me any questions about my son.

Dear All,

我今日帶咗囝囝去"啓思小學附屬幼稚園"(牛津道2A)那間面試, 我的面試時間是2:15pm. 而我地就1:55pm到達, 啓思全程比我感覺都好好. 老師好有愛心. 淨係講係學校門口, 巳經有幾個老師手上拿著winnie the pooh等布公仔引小朋友開心. 去到時, 由於未夠鐘登記, 老師就叫我地係公園玩, 我玩到2:15pm啦, 就去登記, 跟住就上樓上的課室, 入到佢有3張枱, 每張枱都有小朋友玩具, 咁我仔仔就玩啦...玩咗大約15分鐘, 老師就叫名去另一個課室面試, 面試的老師都好好笑容, 好有耐性咁引導小朋友去答問題. 總之overall, 我覺得呢間學校真係幾好, 最重要係課室好乾淨, 光線充足, 教學資源好足夠. 所以我唸另一位家長講好迫好多人那間啓思應該唔係牛津道呢間.

希望佢地收我仔仔啦. 我真係幾鍾意呢間學校.

I just want to share my experience at the oxford rd. creative kg. It was very smooth. 5 min was the actual interview time. kids did not wait very long. toys are clean.

So many teachers are helping this interview day.

However, the teacher asked me will I accept a p.m class offer, if the a.m class is full. I said, Yes. Does it mean she gonna place my son in the p.m session? Therefore, it will have more a.m. class seats for those kids don't want to the p.m class.

Anyway, anyone knows about the school fee? Is it under $ 24,000 for the whole year, so I can use the$1000 voucher from the government.

This school is well prepare for the interview day

I totally agree with you, CPK really well prepared for the interview day, there are almost 20 teachers helping today.

Regarding school fee, CPK's school fee over 24,000 and also they are not "Non Profit-making" school, so that we can't get the voucher...

But I do think it's worth to pay and send my boy to this school as I really appreciate with their teachers' attitude, do you agree ?
