my son tried the accessment and 2 point I don't like :

1. teacher is indian (not sure if all teachers are indian)
2. the teacher showed some drawings to my son and asked him to speak it out.  One of it was pillow but the drawing is so poor and my son shaked his head (actually he learnt it), and the teacher made a big cross'X' on the paper, then go to the next drawing, when my son was thinking, the teacher was so annoyed and made another big cross on the paper, my son was so unhappy and I decided not to let my son studied there.

Actually there're few choices in shatin and some offer free trial class that you can try before join.

And for your information, my son was 4.6 when took the accessment.

When my son attended the accessment there before, they closed the door & do not let me to look inside.  After the accessment completed, the teacher only talked to their staff for a while & let their staff to tell me the result.  Not even say a word to me(maybe she think i don't know english^^).  The staff said your boy can go directly into the phonics class.......but i already told them i want to join the english conversation class......
