I learn from MotherofXXXX that people from famous schools are respecful.

My child is now studying in a so-called famous school. He is not respecful but NAUGHTY.

各位，停一停，題目是講名校小學，不是講名人。

我以前常告誡自己，要讓孩子入好小學，不是名校，但後来，我覺得以前好好笑，係到扮嘢。

乾隆在錢塘江畔，指着點點風帆，問一和尚:"江上有船若干?"，和尚答:"两艘，一曰名，一曰利"。紅頂商人胡雪岩却不以為然，他說，江上只有船一艘，曰"名利"。

香港咁細，家長咁八，一有好校，自然click上BK相告，唔成名都難，名校，絕大部分等於好校。

那麽，值唔值節衣縮食，送仔女上名校呢？

Judy, most people are keen to enter those "free" 名校 by lucky draw, so no need to 節衣縮食!

This is a good topic.

I note that the most valuable benefit of studying in a famous school is to allow the kid to establish a life-long connection with other students of good family background - 有點功利, 但無可厚非.

節衣縮食之後d$如何送仔女上名校? 請賜教.

俾你捉到痛脚，我講中一半，錯一半。

1.未入名校前，要節衣縮食，準備送仔女上名校，但未必入到。值唔值呢？
2.名校收了，有的要學費，有的要堂費，有的要水仙花費，值唔值呢？

我靜係知考外國學校，如你好超班，你讀乜學校都得，如你普通班或ｂｂ班，出名學校就著數ｄ！　佢地會見收過你師兄師姐都ｏｋ，就會好大程度比個機會你　！

名校總有點魔法令入讀者「生屎相隨」….

果d植樹費可以美化校園丫嗎! 仲有, 有d人會睇埋硬件, 舊d細d都會比人彈.

你睇SPB比人問點解冇old boy捐$$, 攪到間學校咁 ....

I agree the first two points. In addition, there is more room of improvement for your kids as the standard of the students in famous school are above average. Generally, most of the parents in the famous school are willing to pay more effort on the children. Hence a better learning atmosphere.

track record of good academic results
English is good

If the child is not the worst 10-20, he/she may still get good results in public exam.

Strictly for discussion purposes - no malice intended:

The fact of kids being good in their studies within the famous schools could be due to the parents' extra efforts instead of the teachers'.

The learning atmosphere could become a competitive environment as well when students become selfish and refuse to share information. Maybe not so apparent in primary schools but maybe in secondary?

Hearsay - there are parents who go to the school actually take exams/test papers from kids' bags to compare marks if they couldn't get information directly.

Two sides to a coin for every matter.
