Dearest,

Me too, I want to know as well. Mine is a boy and I am also live in net 41. I applied DPS but filed in the first round. (Not feeling too bad because I knew the result before).
But I want to know if I can have a bigger chance in round 2....

I failed in HFCS (Kln Tong).I don't know how can I put the choice that I can get a place in first three choice and don't go to the school in Net43 .

Dear Clementmammy,

My son also fails to obtain a seat in La Salle Primary School in which I am well-prepared to have such news in advance (since he gets 15 marks only). Hence, I also want to know how to fill in the form in the round 2 to have a greater chance to get what I want.

Any BK parents can help?

simsim,

if your target is HFCS and put it in both sections as 1st choice, (there are 2 HFCS, so you can put the one you like most in 1st and the other in 2nd) very high chance to succeed in lucky draw! since most will put MCS as 1st in net 41.

I got 20 marks last year in Net 41, I failed for LS in round 1 and choose only DPS in round 2 and luckily got a seat.

I believed it all depends on "LUCK".

For girl:
Part A: MCS
Part B:
  Risk-taker - 1. MCS  2. HF KlnTong 3. KTGPS
  Risk-free - 1. HF KlnTong 2. HF KlnCity 3. KTGPS

For Boy
Part A: LSPS
  Risk-taker - 1. LSPS 2. KTGPS, or
                  1. DPS 2. KTGPS
  Risk-free - 1. KTGPS

Risk free selection is made to make sure yr kid can secure a reasonable good school in net 41.  Based on the behavior of parents in this net, parents for most girls will opt for MCS and boys for LSPS.  So  by giving up these 2 schools you will competing with no one in Part B.

Hope this can help those parents not willing to bet on luck.

俾你講中我的想法，眼見去年有d朋友都係Net 41,但去到好後的志願，我唔想太搏，都係保守d好。
另我想問同網的華德(pm)又如何?佢2008有新校，此校可作次選嗎?thanks...

If you have a spare private school on hand, you can bet as below. Pls understand the most important things is 'LUCK'. Most of the time is not under our control.

part a : 1 choice:  La Salle
         2 choice:  leave it blank
         3 choice:  leave it blank

part b: 1 choice: La Salle
         2 choice: Dps
         the rest leave it blank

中學要睇小朋友成績，所以個個都想入有直屬的中學因為可以有85%升原校(照現行制度計)。

My friend's daughter went through this process last year and she gave me the following advise for girls for the lucky draw at the 2nd round if you are living in net 41:

1st choice - Maryknoll / Holy Family
2nd choice - Kowloon Tong Government Primary School
3rd choice - Kei Wah

Last year her order was: 1.Maryknoll, 2 Holy Family (Kowloon Tong) and she ends up with choice 13

, however, other girl was successful getting into their 2nd choice (Kowloon Tong Govt)
