19/11 in 完, 應該會收, 想了解這學校多點:

1.學校有教phonics 嗎?

2.if yes，　用那套教材？E.g. Jolly, letterland…..

3.if no, 你們覺得小朋友的英文程度ok嗎? 需要再出去學phonics嗎?

4.校車~ 由牛池灣(近威豪)出發~需時? & 費用?

5.有那些課外活動/興趣班給小朋友參與, eg. Ballet, 小童軍, 繪畫etc, 收費?

6.老師質素? 有愛心嗎? 經驗如何?

7.我已 go through 2005 k1家長chat room 50多頁, 見有家長提到有d 老師的accent & grammar 不太好, 你們的comment?

8.已上小學的小朋友, 中文程度追得上嗎?

9.因本人與hubby 對於選擇幼稚園的priority 不一致, 想了解多些再決定, 請各位家長儘量幫忙.

我BB正讀K1 故暫可回答你部分問題
1. K1未有Phonics
3. 英文程度: 上學2個月後BB開始喜歡看英文台劇級/電影
4.我亦住牛池灣(豐盛街) 早上6:50上校車 $740/月
6.英文老師多為印籍或本地幼師因歸保良局管, 有資助
老師人工較私校高故經驗較多很少剛畢業的幼師
8. 因屬英文學校中文程度較其他有名的非英文學校低
(英文程度相對較高)e

am just wondering why you think yr kid would be accpeted. frankly speaking, I have no high hope to be accepted since the competition is quite keen on this kindgarten. :-x since you live quite far away from the school, why you're interested in this school?
I chose this school becos it's near my home.

我也不太樂觀, 因面試當日我小朋友自己坐一陣就已經走埋我度攪攪振, 攪到我都唔知答緊老師D 咩?

後來另一位老師只好拿住d 圖咭走過來問我個仔, 好彩佢又全部識講, 仲有幾副用英文答佢tim... 個miss 又就用英文問佢鍾唔鍾意食橙, 點知我個仔就只係答佢話 "酸酸", 老師再用中文問佢喜歡食咩生果, 阿仔又唔彩人走左去... 之後就bye bye 走人, 睇怕都無望lu....

I think the english and chinese standard is quite good as my son was graduated frm this kindergarten last year. So far I knew most of his classmates frm this kindergarten was no problem in catching up with the P.1 homework and test.

覺得會收是因為囡囡當日好合作,
in 個老師對她印象好好.
臨尾講話無問題, 應該會收

但是我稍嫌遠,
怕啊囡辛苦,
心儀另一間開心,母語教學的kinder.
老公覺得啊囡有potential,
喜歡英語教學,
唔知點choice

希望其他家長俾d意見

你住牛池灣如讀上午校
BB需早上6:00起床 (出門前還要吃奶)
6:50上校車 8:00到學校
可能到9:30才到茶點時間
中午放學後將近1:00才到家

我住你家附近 BB正讀K1 每天晚上需9:00睡覺
否則BB難以一早起床

如你BB讀下午校就不用那樣早起床

我雖住得遠因該校是英文學校收費合理
將來考保良局陳守仁/蔡繼有有分加

上述是我的一點經驗供你參考

fortunately, when I went to the school to take the application form , the am session form was already out of stock, so I apply the pm session for my girl.
but still , I think more than 1 hour's ride on school bus is too much for a little girl.

Can any parents give advices regarding the questions no. 1 & 5. tks

you have to get prepared that this school standard is set rather high, k1 starts to write ABC and read story books, there are not much activities for kids during school hrs and the students are taught to be very disciplined. I will give up even if they accept my child.
