好唔開心，辛辛苦苦為囡囡預備小一面試，到依家都未有一間收/Second Interview。

唔好唔開心啦, 塞翁失馬, 焉知非福~~~
有時面試成功與否, 有好多其他因素加埋運氣, 小朋友只五歲, 要面對面試時的壓力已經好叻了, 或者你可以試下仲有一些仍未截止的, 再唔係還有大抽獎, 再唔得就之後努力去叩門, 希望總在明天, 祝你好運~~~

我都係傳統個幾間仍未有消息 !

佢三歲未夠就開始安排啦, 點知結果都令我失望!!!

可能係我既策略錯左 , 唔應該只係揀至top個幾間!!!

而家唯有諗定之後點做 ? 一來要寄望大抽獎 , 二來都再
問下邊間私小或直資仲有機會面試 (聖瑪加利仍有得報名喎!!) 到明年6月統一結果出左, 如果唔好 ,就再留意邊幾間
學校可以申請啊 !!!!!!!

原本希望早些攪掂唔需要咁辛苦, 而家捱多大半年啦 !!!

唔好放棄 !!!!! 共勉之 !!!!!

I am also very disappointed for the results. It is so difficult to get a seat, especially my son is a small kid. I think he is smart in his age, but comparing to the big kid-1 year older, it is obviously not smart enough. I think the smart kids occupied more than 1 seat in the popular schools we apply. This is not fair to us that we need to wait for 1/2 year more. Why allow those people to hold more than 1 seat and enjoying the following 1/2 year? Not fair!

面試失敗真係好難過, 所以一早同囡囡搵一間有小學的幼稚園, 個心都會定d, 好似依家咁, 我都無緊張過, 就連大抽獎都無去

妳唔使咁傷心, 其實有好多私學都會收生不足, 尤其8月尾搵重容易, 好多大抽獎抽到好的, 都會放棄私小, 到時大把位執呀

囡囡讀的幼稚園已經是名校，也參加了不少課外活動。但她此終是內向的一群，確實很難處理。

我同你同病相憐，考咗三間都係得個桔，諗起甘多個月
黎周圍揾料,上網收風,捱通頂做file......知道消息個刻真
係忍唔住喊咗出黎.唔通仔仔喺佢哋眼中真係甘不堪?!
我巳經幫佢報一Ｄ標榜活動教學,反對填鴨教育嘅學校,
又係佢吔話主要睇小朋友真性情,點知考時又係要求流利
英文,普通話，睇到佢吔收嘅多數係ST. catherine or
Kentville...仲以為佢吔真係有教無類！！小朋友單係有
好學之心根本冇用。唔怪得Ｄ名牌幼稚園個個都爭崩
頭入啦！

我跟妳情況一樣, 囝囝在名幼稚園讀 ! 課外活動動靜皆有, 又有 cert , 又有 award , 但結果都令我非常唔開心 !!! :tongue:
有兩間都未有公佈,但個心都打定輸數, 一來學位少,二來
龍年真係多好多小朋友爭 !!

Chunmama講得對, 我個仔都係細仔,就算幾smart, 當跟大仔一比較 (相差成年) 就輸啦 !!!!
不過, 千萬不要氣餒, 大家這大半年再繼續努力吧 !!!!!

If you think it is not fair to compare the ability of children, who are with different ages, you may consider to let your child to repeat one year.

來來去去都係報果幾間名校, 一定打崩頭 !!!! :-x

各位家長,

不要氣餒, 以我經驗, 雖然名幼稚園可能會較著數小小, 但考小學真係要睇小朋友的臨場表現, 是否識得答題目. 我識得有d唔係名幼稚園既小朋友, 都一樣可以考入DBSPD, 反而讀SC & KENT就考唔到. 好似上年, 我囡囡考左好多間學校都唔收, 因為佢好怕羞, 唔識就唔出聲, 而收佢個d我又唔係咁鍾意, 在六月既大抽獎又抽唔中, 跟著去叩津校就收左囡囡, 不過我都決定比囡囡讀私校, 但呢間都唔係自己咁鍾意, 最後到8月尾, 我心儀個間就打電話來收囡囡, 所以真係未到最後一刻, 都未知結果.

仲記得果間播道書院個校長話: 每個小朋友都有佢得長處短處, .... 咪又係, 講一套, 做一套, 見試時, 只用普通話, 英語來做收生標準...

I am also very disappointed. I did not push my lovely son to do a lot of ex activities, only those he likes and also did not do practices with him on interviews because I also naively believed that the schools like to see the "real, unpolished" child. But obviously I was wrong. I was particularly disapoointed because all along my son was priased by friends, families and teachers as being smart and with nice manners, so it is a real shock to me that so far we have not been successful in all the schools interviewed...it was in fact his kg teacher that suggest he tried the "famous" DSS schools, not to rely on the Gov. system....I am heartbroken but of course I do not let my son know because I don't want to give pressure to him. All along I just told him the interviews were about him going to the school to play with the teachers and other kids and see if he likes the school or not...I am very sad.

我覺得面試都是表面工夫，大多數都比自已人。如校長D FRIEND,老師D FRIEND, 。餘下得十個八個。D小朋友要文武全才，才有機會 2ND INTERVIEW OR 入學。

I agree....For some traditional schools which explicitly require the candidates to be polished & acadamically strong, it is fine for them to do so

But for those schools which claim that they want "real, unpolished etc" kids but NOT doing so in the selection process, this is a LIE!!
