Can anyone whose childs currently study at this school and briefly introduce this school and is it easy to get a seat at this private school, It seems not so many parents mentions this school at BK

In short, both schools aim at providing students with a happy learning environment with less academic pressure.

The advantage of PLK CKY is that it's a through-train school and we as parents no need to bother again after 6 years. Students can study in the PLK CKY without the need to adapt to another style after the primary school stage whereas after a student graduates in CCS he/she will have to go back to the traditional system which I foresee will be a problem.

To me, the only advantage of CCS over PLK CKY is its focus on "Art" / "Drama" education.

I think I will choose PLK CKY over CCS if my daughter is offered a place by PLK CKY.

agreed, CCS compare with CKY, i will definiatly choose CKY as i phoned to CCS and they said they are the CHinese primary not focus on English.

i'm not said English is the main point, but it is similar school fee and teaching methods, i perfer CKY.

I have a general concept on why PLK CKY want over $40,000 school fee a year (they have a bigger campus, i.e. more facilities, more native-english speaking teachers, and planing to run IB Dip. etc.), but I don't know why CCS want even more annual school fee than PLK CKY considering its campus and its staff. I know that they prepare healthy lunch for the students and they employer art teachers who have genuine art background (rather than ask teachers of other subject to teach arts), but still over $40,000 annual school fee is a bit too much. PLK CKY claim that all the school fees collected will spend on the school whereas CCS may make profit from the school fee. From the $$$ point of view, the school fee for PLK CKY is more worth spending.

I agree to CKY may have the advantage than CCS as it has the through-train secondary school. However, one should not blindly believe that a through-train school equal to quality school. As the secondary session has not yet opened and no one has seen the academic result and outcome of the secondary school students.

However, CCS has over 10 years of history and already had many graduates. It is generally agreed that that many of their graduates can perform very well in other English-speaking secondary schools.

So, don't jump to conclusion so easily. Every school has their own merits and short-coming.
