But I also know from my daughter's kinder (also St. cat) teacher that SFA offered almost 50% of its seats in 2005 P1 to St. Cat.......

Dear all,

One of the reasons that SFA offered seats to many students from St. Cat & Kentville because these two kindergartens have many students/graduates & therefore they have higher proportion of students accepted by SFA.

Undeniably, St. Cat's students are good in English (especially spoken), & Kentville's students are well-trained in 'written' Chinese & English & they are good in Maths too. These are all the criteria for entering SFA.

SFA has a tighter space for girls, as a tradition, they accept 2/3 boys and 1/3 girls in one class. Therefore, it's more difficult for girls to have a place. Of course, their secondary school allocation for boys are very good.
