係，通常想仔女正常地讀書，真係要讀 d ranking 高的single sex school。

男校就 dulwich，harrow，winchester，eton 等等，gcse 排名差於 200 的就要考屢下先好!

鬼仔宿舍，如管得唔好，唔嚴，幾壞都有 !

可去london times 網止查下，亦可向 british council 查下 !

我兒甥仔今年九月(讀完中三)去左 Scotland 入讀 boarding school, 校名無記錯好似係 St. Leonard (男女校), 位於 Scotland 的 St. Andrew, 係兒甥仔校長及妹妹外國朋友推薦. 開學時姐姐及妹妹都到過 Scotland, 佢地都好喜歡這間學校, 中國學生唔多, 因為 Scotland 較遠, 但就較純樸. 姐姐話宿舍舍監好 nice 但嚴, 兒甥仔 email 回來說讀得好開心, 與同學們都相處無問題.

其實大部份boarding school 價錢都係唔爭太遠

6500- 7800磅一個term到啦

女校有：St. Swithun's , Wycombe Abbey, Badminton, Benedan, Cheltenham Ladies, Malvern Girls', St. Catherine. . . . 等等

這裡有好多獨立學校，慢慢找。

另我表妹曾讀過 Truro High School for girls ，是在英國南部，離倫敦較遠，她說那裡是英國人退休住的地方，好處是環境清優，老人家多過年輕人，無咁易學壞。

她由F.3讀起，考GCSE時all pass，有A*也有B，她說有學姊考入cambridge和Oxford，她讀的時候全校只有七個香港人。

學校不算出名，不過好似話ranking 在100之內(幾年前)，學費比較廉宜，可以考慮下！

I recommend you to read a book "晉身英國名校全攻略" by 曾勵予.  A lot of information that you have to know.  Just like Hong Kong, if you want to study in good University, you have to find a good Secondary School.  She lists out first 100 good boarding schools.

I think you don't have to hestiate whether it is good or not if your school is on the list.

She was invited to write a book "英國中學名校指南" in 2001 because her daughter got 11A in the GCSE.  Her daughter found a good day school so 曾勵予 went to study with her.

In 2005, she wrote another book "晉身英國名校全攻略".  Her daughter is in Year 2 of Cambridge.

In my opinion, if you want to study in UK, you better start in 11 years old.

You will take GCSE in UK when you are 15 (Year 11).  HK people like to go at 13.  Do you think that you can get good result in GCSE and find good university?

For the first two years (11 to 13), you just learn English and accustom to the environment.
