Hi ylisam,
In the advertisement it stated that some of his students got grade 5 and grade 8 within a very short period of time, and he also won the prize for the youngest educator, something like that. Then I called and finished interview with him last week. He is very young I think under 25 years old. His living place is in Kwun Tong which is quite a small place but decorated nicely with a very small room for teaching. The size is almost like those in the music companies.
During the interview, he sounded very proud of himself and his own teacher. He also told me that how famous he is and his teacher. I saw a few prizes without name written on it. I am not sure what was that because I couldn't see the words clearly. He talked to me mostly but rarely to my child about how I should support for the lessons coming. He also said that he will expect my child can play the standard about grade 1-2 within 1 month. (my child is just a very beginner) Besides, I also felt that he is quite a high tempered person.
Up till now, I cann't make my decision. If anyone knows about him and his teaching method, kindly share with us. |
