我啱啱買咗DWE比囡囡,個consultant都比咗個general idea我每日個schedule點run,但係我都好confused,雖然話好隨意比佢聽啫但係都想了解下其他媽咪點用囉,可唔可以分享下呀?Many thanks

我差不多每日都播足比個仔听,听都自己都悶,平日除了DWE的DVD外都不看別的電視,不過由返學開始都小左机會用,因為無時間,真系心痛,又吾知個仔識吾識...不過我本身好多英文都吾系太識(指DWE內容)我都識了大部份啦,吾系刻意記...

其實個concept好簡單喎,根據個consultant講,DWE有Play Along, Sing Along, 同 Main Programme (Basic ABC+), 每日播2隻DVDs, 一早一晚, 早上播Play Along DVD (有3隻,每日alternate咁播,要同小朋友玩播出黎過果d玩具)跟住全個朝早就播同一set嘅CD, 下午播Sing Along or Main Programme嘅DVD(有4隻唔同顏色(藍色,綠色,淺綠色,黃色),第1個月用藍色系列,第2個月用綠色系列,第3個月用淺綠色,第4個月用黃色...跟住從頭開始過...), 又係alternate咁播,成個下午就播Sing Along嘅CD
至於Storybook, Right Light Activities 同Fun with Words(又係alternate咁用)就每日spend5-10分鐘同小朋友讀(一邊播同set嘅CD一邊讀),而Talkalong Cards, Games Cards果d都係當玩具, Talkalong Cards就每個禮拜用around10張,隔個week換,如果個小朋友like某張咭就keep起囉!

我個女依家日聽夜聽disney,佢好鍾意咁囉...我唔知有無效呀,不過我諗如果日聽夜聽好似洗腦咁...應該都會有幫助...唔理佢學唔學到野先啦,起碼呢套野係有益嘅比佢當玩具反下都好呀!!!

My girl seldom to play the talkalong card before 2.5 years old since she has no interest in that. However, she could recognise and read almost 90% of the words in the vocabulary cards (I forgot the exact name of those card sets) when she was two. Recently she's interested in the talkalong card finally. I think the most important point for using the DWE program is play whatever part your kid interested in at the moment they play but not strictly stick to the schedule that the consultant suggested! BE FLEXIBLE in using it!

我覺我你講得好啱呀,應該flexible囉...但係一開始用果時都唔知佢like邊樣,所以咩都要試下囉!!!!我個女鍾意反talkalong cards最like Minnie is Singing果張...佢會跟住唱o架...

My daughters 3 & 4yrs old also use DWE full sets, they known all words already, my younger daughter can read the words without pictures when she was 2.5yrs. DWE is quite good and work. They both can speak English to me.

I think it's worth to buy DWE if you usually speak to your baby in Cantonese, my baby has been using it for 1.5 years, (I usually let him watch DVDs 1-2 times a week but my hushand speaks to him in English), when he was about 1 year, he could understand some simple full sentences, such as "baby, could you switch on/off the lamp, please?, how to do exercise? and put your hands in the air?"etc., and then he would follow our instructions.

Now, his English is much better than his Cantonese, he only can speak a few Cantonese words)..... I don't know how to enhance his Cantonese at the moment....
