係蔡繼「有」。

真道、港大同學會、St Paul Co-ed、維多利亞、新小拔、 ESF新私校啟新、宏立同崇真國際都係相同理念,同樣考IBD。學費由千二一個月到近萬都有,睇你信邊幾間做得到。

唔一定做白老鼠的. 知多d校長的資歷, 多多少少都可印證下該校會否達到其理念. 比如校長有國際學校經驗, 在推行上可能更有效.

I only attended PLK CKY's briefing last Saturday. Teachers (Eng, Chi, Math & Science) were arranged to introduce the way they teach. Other than the Chinese teacher who spoke in Putonghua, all others spoke in native English. In terms of English standard, it should be quite good as the teachers are either foreigners or "ABC" (if compared to other schools that could not afford too many NET). The principal is very experienced and she is eager to help our kids to learn and grow in a happy and creative way.

i am worry about their standard compare to the public exam. /other schools. Did you expects their students will perform good and can go to the good secondary school or they can cope with the requirement of the local U or need to study aboard. THey can achieve the HKCEE (F. 5)?

聽聞HKCEE will not exisit any more when our kids would be at F5. However, I am not sure what would then be the local exam? Anyone have any idea.

In CKY's briefing, headmistress said that they will attend IGCSE exam (www.cie.org.uk), if I remember correctly, and join IBO's Diploma Program(www.ibo.org).

It seems that many new schools (CKY, HKUGA, ISF, etc) are going to adopt IB to certain extent.

對我來說, 讀得呢d學校就唔會傻仔到比個小朋友去考會考. 只要學校有提供I.B. 至 Year 13, 就可以報大學. 至於"學生的出路", 就要看看學校有否提供升學輔導服務了.

IGCSE exam is for 14-16 years old students. Students need to take I.B. to get a seat from uni.

I attended Pui Kiu's briefing. The arrangement was messy because the number of attendees were much more than expected. The principal confirmed that they have not yet confirmed to use IB because currently, Hong Kong's universities reserve only 10% of their seats for IB-graduated students. So, unless the policy changes, adopting IB implies that most of the guaduates need to go to universities outside Hong Kong. He also doubts how many schools in Hong Kong will take IB seriously although most of them claim that they will go for IB.
