Don't know why the press mention 油尖旺 region (31 and 32 net) drop in P. 1 seats by 200 in 2006. Schools like YMT Catholic , St. Mary's and Methodist seems to be offering similar no. of seats in 2006 as this year.

By the way, 德信周氏學校 in 32 net seems to be a temporary name only.

適齡兒童(即在九月開課時年滿五歲八個月至七歲) (10分) + 父�母或兄�姊為該小學的畢業生 (10分) = 20分

首名子女(5分) + 適齡兒童(即在九月開課時年滿五歲八個月至七歲) (10分) + 與學校宗教相同者 (5分) = 20分

There will be a lot of kids with 20 marks (especially those applying Co-Ed schools) and a lucky draw may be required to decide the distribution of remaining seats leftover by those automatically selected (e.g. those with elder sister/brother studying in same primary school) and those with 25 marks and over.

我估志潔優才係咪當左TKO網架? If yes, 咁都少左幾十個位啦..其他d唔出名個d縮一班又無30. YMT Catholic , St. Mary's and Methodist dd 都少左位就幣加火..要儲定錢留學架拿.
BTW, 原先"德信學校"個名都算幾好.. 加埋周氏即刻....

For yr information 志潔 2005年9月與優才(楊殷有娣)學校合併，成為中小學一條龍直資學校.

I find out that 聖公會基榮小學 (32 net) will change to whole day school (AM + PM in 2005) starting from next year, it may have contribute to the decrease of so much P.1 seats in 油尖旺 region.

德信學校 (31 net) is offering around 100 seats of P.1 in 2006 which is much lesser than this year. 德信周氏學校 (32 net), a new school combining 周氏宗親總會學校 and a split of 德信學校, is also offering around 100 seats in 2006. I agree that 德信周氏學校 is not a good name, maybe the authorities need to think hard for a better one

Even with 15 marks or less (mission impossible), I believe it's better to apply to the primary school one admires in 1st round, in order to pave the way for the "knock the door" stage (third round) to apply to the same school.

家長赴升小講座取選校面試貼士

(星島日報報道)○六年小一入學申請已經展開，約五百名家長昨日出席升小講座取經，收集選校及面試「貼士」。有校長提醒小朋友面試時宜表現自然有禮，家長於自行收生階段選報官立或資助名校時則要「睇分做人」，提醒家長「受歡迎學校最少要二十分才有機會抽籤。」
