Dear FiFii,
My kid join one to one piano lesson. Parent cannot accompy kid to attend lesson. How I see the progress of my kid, just base on she could play the songs after each lesson. But of course, some of them she don't know. What I think is that at least, my kid really enjoy each class even though sometimes she feel very tired after school, but she is still willing to go there. What is the most important for those beginner (like my kid) is to stimulate their interests. At least, my kid don't refuse to learn.
As I know that some kids will give up learning piano because of the piano teacher. Of course, it is not 100% relating to the teacher, but at least the attitude of teacher will affect the children.
