不敢說這是一定, 但廸Ｘ尼美語只是個單向的教才, 沒有互動性, 如家長常給小朋友看, 少了很多時間跟小朋友溝通, 語言發展會有阻礙.

而且還要看孩子的個性, 有不少小朋友的孩子都不太喜歡看的(小兒也是), 如能靜靜的坐着看數小時的小朋友亦相對較靜, 所以不能一概而論.

For my baby's (22-month boy)case, he is used to be very active & talkative. However, when he's viewing the DWE, he can sit on the sofa quitely.
He likes to recite the content of the VCD after watching the VCD. For example, he is used to recite one birthday cake, two roses, three.... before he falls asleep.

I don't think so.
It depends on how you use it.

1.  Listen at the early stage but watch at a later stage.  To develop their listening skill, you should let them listen to the CD first.

2.  Watch for a limited time per day, half hour to one hour is the most per day.  DON'T turn on the TV all day long.  If you turn on the TV all day long, no matter is Disney or English Time or Sesame Street, or anything else, the result is, of course, they just look at the TV.

And don't let children watch TV before sleep.  Turn it off 1 to 2 hours before sleep, if you want to have a good sleep for the whole family.  The same, don't play computer before sleep

3. Read the books with your child, no matter Disney or any storybook.

No matter what kinds of Educational tools or TV programs, if you use it smartly then you will get good result.
