My son will attend F.1 in DBS. We submitted the profile to the school and need to wait for interview. The 1st part of interview will be conducted in English and Cantonese. They will only do oral interview. The 2nd part will be strengths other than academic. If you mentioned in the profile you are good in swimming, then you need to be test. My son good at Music, then he need to prepare audition in the 2nd part.

But, I have no ideas on the other schools.

In the 1st interview, they asked the children to read a passage (both Chinese and English).  I'm not sure what did they ask besides this.  My son don't want to talk about after the interview but he said the teacher was mentioned his pronounciation good.  They alos ask some old fashion Chinese grammmer.  My son didn't know.  He just told them he didn't learn it before.  That's all for 1st interview.

The 2nd interview was audition.  My son get 2nd and 3rd prize in HK school music and speech competition both last and this year.  He play chinese instrument.  Maybe is quite rare in the market.

I noticed that there is some children were not good at academic but good at sport also join DBS.  So don't give up the chance to try it . You still have chance.
