Re: Does anyone have successfully knock-door at St. Mary?

I finally selected St. Mary's (not Maryknoll) for my daughter. 
To me, both the two schools have a very high ranking in academic. To be honest, I prefer Maryknoll because of its gorgeous campus. In the first round, St. Mary's offered about 70+ of seats and Maryknoll offered about 90+ of seats. It seemed that the chance of getting a place in Maryknoll was higher than in St. Mary's so we selected Maryknoll initially.
On the first day of accepting application form, my husband went to St. Mary's first. He found that St. Mary's did not have too many parents to submit application form then he went to Maryknoll.
He described to me on the phone that Maryknoll was full of parents in the hall so he thought that eventhought the places of Maryknoll was more than St. Mary's; the chance of getting a place in Maryknoll is smaller than in St. Mary's. He called me and finally we decided to select St. Mary's.
Although I prefer Maryknoll, the barrier in my heart is that Maryknoll is a noble school in my perception. Furthermore, starting from this year, primary one students will be admitted by St. Mary's secondary school. These are also the points to support our decision in selecting St. Mary's.
Hope your daughter will be admitted by either Maryknoll or St. Mary's. They are really good schools.
