門檻高唔高就唔知, 但費用好高就知, 又要IELTS, 又要UKISET, 又要去 BRITISH COUNCIL 考試, 加埋 REGISTRATION FEE, 加埋過$10,000, 真係未見官先打八十大板~~

Ukiset有好幾間女校都要睇做scanning，不過又唔係主要收生考慮因素，不過要IELTS就真係額外的要求，好小其他學校有依個要求

門欖唔算低，但係計埋麻煩程度，我認為唔係好值得。
我個女當年都有報，又係要為咗佢考Ukiset同ielts，仲要最早開始。結果都未搞完啲程序，我哋已經見埋CLC仲收埋，梗係唔鬼再理佢。

我都覺得唔值得, 比成萬蚊, 不過我老公話都試下啦, 咁填佢份FORM 時, 出生地點無 "香港", 咁我寫EMAIL 去問, 佢居然叩我揀 "中國", 話香港係中國喎.  如果係地址我都算, 但出生地點我點都過唔到自己, 所以都廢事煩, 唔鬼報

St Swithun's 收生有要求
不過國際生只佔約15% 學術水平佳
2022 A level A*-A 75.7%

英國其實呢方面係好落後，我都試過填D form(係大網站，唔係報學校），地址只有China揀都算（照揀），至弊揀完連電話都 by default 出了中國的area code, 改又改唔到，佢哋仲好鐘意打電話聯絡人，真係把鬼火唔填了！

證明呢間學校受大陸同胞歡迎，教得學生政治正確，Geography 又讀得好！
去過某頂級名校opening morning ，校園設施一流，Modern language building 中文課室門外赫然見有金漆牌匾「孔子学院」，某國對僑胞學生關愛實在無微不至⋯
㨂學校真係要實地school visit 勘察，睇下真實環境和student mix，去唔到就睇報名表也略知一二

St Swithun’s 收內地及香港人極小，一屆只係一隻手咁多，可能根本志不在此！
試過之前一年，一個內地生都無收，大家可能諗錯方向
另外學校英文要求咁多，內地人多數唔會揀

朋友女在St Swithun讀緊，她當年係放Benenden入呢間的，St Swithun係女校中出名Sports, 啱sporty的女仔，成績也不錯，在當地人中都受歡迎，反而國內人中冇咁吹捧，香港都唔係咁多人識。
其實英國好多公司網頁報名填form都冇香港揀的，系統性問題，同用的database有bug唔update, 佢地話之你邊度打邊度，除非真係好國際化的公司，技術問題，所以大家不用想多了

我囡囡收到6th form offer, 想請教家長對St Swithun's的意見，pastoral care方面對international students照顧得好嗎？囡囡担心6th form入學難識朋友，怕女仔多數已有自己friend group. 我想知學校係報大學方面有幫助嗎？囡囡唔知自己想讀邊科。

國際生是否 Sixth form 才要 UKiset?

Senior & Sixth-Form Admissions

The senior school has entry points at Year 7 (11+), Year 9 (13+) and Year 12 (16+).

Registration for year 7 is by the summer of the child’s year 5. Candidates take the ISEB Common Pre-test at their own school or at St Swithun’s in mid-November of their year 6. UK-based candidates take our own entry papers in English and mathematics during an assessment day at St Swithun’s in that November. Overseas-based candidates should take the ISEB Common Pre-test by 31 October of that year and sit our entry papers at their local British Council on the last Saturday in October of that year.

Late candidates for year 7 2023: please make an enquiry and we will advise further.

Registration for year 9 (13+) should be completed by the end of the child’s year 6 . Candidates seeking early offers are pre-tested in the November of their year 7. Overseas-based candidates should take the ISEB Common Pre-test by 31 October of UK year 7.

The year 9 (13+) 2023 lists are now closed and we are not taking any more registrations. The next standard entry point for new candidates for this cohort will be year 12 2026.

Registration for Year 12 (16+) should be completed by the end of September in year 11.

Registration for entry

Registration is made by completing an online application link which is sent from the registrar once a candidate has enquired via our website. The registration fee is £250 and is non-refundable.

Sixth-Form Entry

Sixth-form places at St Swithun’s attract a worldwide interest and our entry requirements are rigorous.  The first step is to read all aspects of the sixth-form section of our website to become familiar with the academic opportunities and subject options available.

Please note that all overseas candidates should register directly with UKiset – the UK Independent Schools’ Entry Test (www.ukiset.com). Please list St Swithun’s so that your daughter’s UKiset results are automatically sent to us to arrive by 30 September the year before the proposed entry.

The boarding lists for 2023 entry are now closed; Day candidates are welcome to make an enquiry now.

Please enquire via the enquiry webpage and email our registrar with your daughter’s most recent school report.

Online application links are available directly from the registrar once the candidate has enquired via our website. Please note we do not accept applications without having first seen your daughter’s school report.

Entry at year 12 is by assessment at St Swithun’s during the first weekend in November of the year before her intended entry. The assessment includes a series of interviews and written papers in your daughter’s chosen A level subjects. The assessments are broadly based on the GCSE specifications except in the case of subjects which have not been studied before: these look for a general interest in the subjects and the ability to write logically.

English-Language Requirements

Year 7 (11+), Year 9 (13+) and Year 12 (16+) candidates for whom English is not their first language - please see our English language requirements.
